You wouldn't think that a discount tire center would turn out to be an oasis of hospitality, but this is that place. My friend and I, a hundred miles from home, were turned away half a dozen times as we desperately searched for a shop on Long Beach Island that would replace a misfiring spark plug -- not a huge job, but an essential one if we wanted to get home. Then we tried Mastercraft, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences of the New Jersey Shore. Even though the shop was busy, Mike, the manager, made us feel at home right away. While my friend and I sat in their nice cool office (it was a hot day), Mike had one of his mechanics immediately bring the car in to diagnose the problem. We were quoted an exact price, and even though there were other cars on the lot, because we were stranded (and my friend uses a walker to get around), they got to work on my car right away. For the entire time we were there, we felt very welcome and taken care of, and very confident about the repair of the car. In a little while, the car was done, and we were on our way. I really can't say enough about how it made our day to come here.

Once again, Mastercraft came to my rescue!! I had a problem with the seat belt in my (quite old) car...it had been pulled all the way out and wouldn't retract. I needed to transport an elderly relative to a doctor's appointment. Mike didn't hesitate to take a quick look and was able to wiggle it back into place!! It could have been a very expensive and time-consuming replacement or repair... Once again, I am truly grateful!! Thank you!!
