They advertise returns for credit within 60 days. We went back in the alloted time frame with the receipt, a picture of the car tag where items were removed, and they reviewed us on the camera.... Yet they refused to take item back because apparently they were too lazy to leave the hut to mark the part with orange. Very poor implementation of policy compared to many other parts yard on the west coast. Update: they now accuse us of declining their marking process. We did not know about this process, because it was not offered or indicated. Very unethical gaslighting! Store credit would have been very easy and they are destroying opportunities for long-term customers. From their website, there is no mention of marking parts: What happens if the part does not work or fit properly? If the part you bought does not work or fit properly and you return it within 60 days of purchase, we will either exchange your part or give you store credit. There are no cash refunds.

The staff are always friendly they have a good fit of employees that enjoy there jobs. I know working out in the weather sucks and I give them props for giving me the opportunity to be able to pull my own parts at a fair price.

It can be difficult to find the right parts and sometimes the screws/bolts are stripped, but the prices are great and there is an inventory on their website to help you find what you are looking for. I highly recommend this place for parts.

Great prices and selection, you can also check car inventory online, $1 to get in. Hundreds of cars.

Went in recently to look for some replacement seats for my 2000 Chevy Silverado. I used the inventory search ahead of time, so was able to go directly to the candidate cars. Was able to find a nice pair on a 2000 Suburban, slightly lighter tan than my existing ones, but look great.

Way overpriced for used.. technically junk. Prices used to be a lot better, I get everything is expensive right now but shouldn’t be like that for mostly donated or scrapped vehicles.

Went in there to get a glovebox for my truck. The man working there printed off the location in which to find all available vehicles. Found the correct part, price was good and went home and installed it. Part was in good condition and everything turned out well!! Would recommend

It was just what I needed to get my mind off of things and get outside of my own mind, The brisk autumn air felt good as I tried my best to work a wrench and a ratchet, happy to lend a helping hand. The prices of the used parts were decently priced. I don't usually get my parts from the jungle because I like buying new parts when doing maintenance and upkeep on my own car. It was pretty quiet there. The best way to learn how to do something yourself is to do it yourself. It felt good to feel useful for a little while.

This place has almost any part you need for a low price, and admission to the yard is only $ 1.00. Same with the Nampa Jalopy Jungle. If you can't find what you need at one, your ad is sion price is good the same day at the other one. It wS too hot today to get what I needed, so I left without getting it.

Place is great. love it the hag behind the window not so much. Spent 2 hours in the sun pulling a power steering pump for my truck got done went up to go pay for it the lady wasn't in the office she was in the parking lot working a deal with the car with another woman well they started walking back up the lady was in line with me I asked her how much they offered her for her car since I have a similar car that I'm looking to get rid of the lady behind the window lift out told me I couldn't get my part she wasn't going to sell me anything and started the ripped my tools through the window like I'm trying to steal something it's like lady I brought the part up here to purchase it I'm not trying to steal anything stop treating me like I'm a thief I'm not sure what this is all about but it seems to me like me inquiring with another customer about selling my card and then would be good business isn't that what they're in selling or buying cars business anyways she was very rude and abusive language towards me embarrassed me in front of a lot of people she should be fired

I love coming here. I come with my wife and we get bits and pieces to fix our van. The guy that works at the front is pretty cool and friendly. We've felt so comfortable and welcome here that it's kind-of a whim, and one of the cheapest dates ever. I'm lucky to have a wife that will go with me to do that stuff, but I am also happy that Jalopy Jungle is so well run and close to us. I would recommend this place - just make sure you know the rules and you will not have any problems. Don't ask for exceptions and wear shoes are the biggies.

This one in Caldwell is way better with customers and their service than the Garrity location that I have to say they seem to be more caring and honest appreciating your repeated business with them. I sold my car there just a while back, they gave me a pretty good deal for it they'll even come pick it up for you if you can't get it there yourself. So if you're looking for parts I recommend jalopy at any location for the parts you need at a discounted price.

Pick-A-Part Jalopy ngle continues to impress with product and personal interaction with the employees. With disclaimers noted, they're willing to discuss both product and service. As a disabled veteran I'm especially appreciative of their willingness to assist as best they can without implied warranty. Zack deserves a special recognition. He has been most kind and forthcoming with recommendations based on my needs. I still refer to it as "The Toy Store"! A great bunch of motorheads.

It never fails this place always has the parts I need and the crew that runs this particular shop is always on point polite and easy to get along with. They are helpful but also efficient. Its best to call ahead and make sure they have your rig at that yard but if not they can tell you which yard in the area does have it.

Pay $1.00 to enter and let your treasure hunting begin. I was able to pick up a pretty nice set of wheels to put snow tires on. At a fraction off the cost that new would be. They have wheelbarrows you can use. You need to bring your own tools to take off the parts you're wanting.

Ran in to get a rear window for a dodge neon. They knew what rows the cars were in and I was in and out in 20 minutes. Prices are fair service was great.

I have a 89 Mazda 323 and they were asking $200 for the transmission the car is simply not worth it. I bought the same trans (was upgrading from 4 speed) 3 years ago from All Hours for $69. Guess I'll put the 4 speed back in. Ridiculous. Other than that it's seems to be a fine place.

I had the greatest experience here today. Lupe up front helped me arrange towing my vehicle into the lot from storage yesterday and then had the check ready for me today when I brought in the title. She was extremely fair with the price. Luis in the back showed me my vehicle (I hadn't seen it at all since I hadn't been in the accident). If I ever do need a part or heaven forbid have another car I need to scrap again, I know where I will bring my business!

Pick your own parts is exactly what you get, $1 yard entry. Make sure and call ahead,or access the website to make sure that the vehicle/ vehicles your searching for are available and at which location. Save time and money, lacks customer service, yet inexpensive.

Expect to leave a half hour before close. Its muddy, dirty, and not the most organized, but still I would come back. Spending pennies on the dollar is an excellent option compared to ebay trash or buying at full price from a website or dealership. Just make sure you know your way around a car and ALWAYS bring a 10mm socket. And watch out for wasps, they seem to love nesting in the most inconvenient spots

As a young man, a trip to the "junk yard" meant searching through rows of cars placed in no particular order. Jalopy has a nice inventory tool reporting for multiple locations. Very helpful! I also ventured to another yard nearby last night. Their online inventory tool was inaccurate and customer service paled in comparison. (I won't be going back there)

My past experiences have been great, but this time I went there looking for a timing gear for a Geo Metro. I pay my dollar they printed out a receipt showing me the cars they had available I went out to the yard, looked, but the car didn't have the part I wanted so I went to leave and get my hand stamped so I can go to the Nampa store. The lady looked through my bag like they normally do and saw that I had a pulley, she pulled it out and charged me for it. I informed her that she never looked through my bag when I went in, and I had that with me to compare to the pulley I wanted to get I pretty much got called a liar and she looked at me like I was trying to steal a part so I paid the $6 and left what was I supposed to do leave my parts there never coming here again!

Its a big place, very busy today. I think they could have used a little more help nonetheless we got in and look for our parts they go through cars fairly fast they're so all the cars are newer cars and if you see something you want you should probably get it as soon as you can and they're really reasonable on the price for parts.

Although nearly free to walk in and easy to find the vehicle needed, the space to work in is ridiculous between cars.

Having to salvage your vehicle caused from an accident that wasn't your fault is hard of itself but dealing with Lupe here was such a great experience. I have never had to do this but she was patient and walked me thru the steps and made it as painless as it could. She gave me a better price than I expected. I would definitely give her my business again, but let's hope it never happens the way it did.
