Take your business ANYWHERE else! I can't speak for other locations, but the Bay Minette location is NEVER open. They apparently don't own an answering machine because if you call to see if they're open this week nothing picks up. The only way to verify is to pull up to the gate and see if they left a sign that you can't see from the road. This place needs new management.

Warning is not where you want to go for parts!!! This place is horrible!!! Manager is very ,very rude!!! My son was told that they had both of the side windows for his car. He paid for them and when they came in from getting them they just had one window he was told the other one was broken so he asked for his money back for the one they didn't have. They told him no that he couldn't get it back that he'll have a store credit. I called to talk to the store manager myself and I was told that they couldn't do that give his money back you didn't have the part so why his money can't be refunded back. That's theft!!! My son tried to go use the store credit when he called they had the part but when he arrived and entered the building he was told they were eating so basically g et out...the manager finally came out and asked what did he need he told him and tells him the whole engine is gone we don't have the part so give him his money back. It shouldn't be a problem. Its not like he was returning something back for a store credit he was purchasing a part that you don't have. He kept hanging up in my face and finally blocked me. Smh I'm going Monday with the police and taking this farther just because of his unprofessionalism!!! Scam he's that broke that you have to keep his money!!! They need to be shut down!! If you don't like people get out of the business setting.

Excellent customer service! Called on Christmas Eve needing a part for my son's truck because he was leaving on a 9 hour trip and Gene answered even though they were closed. He didn't have what I needed in hand but tracked it down, called me back, and had it waiting on me when I got there. Really helped me out of a tight spot.

There is in no forum, A Better place Awesome people with such Great attitude friendly smiles in any part of the day or week they are very helpful in ways I can't find the words to Explain. I Love going just never do I have reason to hangout, they may run me off 4 getting in the way of business anyway it's just a place I feel at home kinda wished I worked there or lived I love it So yeah! Top notch experience with Hicks Auto. They are located across from LKQ. Strangely reading these reviews shows that people confuse them for LKQ a lot. LKQ is the big junkyard. Hicks is the auto repair across from it.

Attempted to call and ask for information about the cash for junk cars service, but the lady on the phone was very quick to get me off the phone. She didn't give me any information, I had to ask every question. And each question I asked, she sounded noticeably irritated. If you don't like your job, then get a new one but don't take it out on the customers.

This place is the only place ill use in Tuscaloosa. They are very helpful and from the scale to the pay house very nice. If you know how to separate your metals you'll love their system. Only problem is it gets really busy but I guess that's a good problem and very

We bought a envoy from them yesterday. They rigged the car so the knocking wouldn't happen immediately. We took it to road mart for an oil change and tire alignment. They couldn't do an alignment because of all the hidden damage. Also they said in the oil that was in the engine was diesel oil to silence the knocking. When we voiced our concerns to the dealer he stated that it's our problem we bought it and it was no longer his concern.

gave them money and still waiting on ALL the parts I paid for. Been back multiple times to pick it upthr one they forgot and keep getting "sorry man", "my bad I forgot", "oh we were busy but will get to it", "will have it for you tomorrow", etc. super frustrating. don't recommend.

Was NOT comfortable when we went to get things from my daughters car because someone hit her. Then before we can even get the insurance claim done, they swnt her car to a whole other lot. We were just able to get the accident report today and the car was mkved before then! The guy behind the counter was rude and followed me and my daughter around and stood right behind us as we looked for what we needed. Then proceeded to ask us when we were gonna pay him,I wouldnt EVER reccommend them to anyone!!!!!!
