Fire the guy at midnight, never in the booth when there's a line of people waiting or hire 2 personal so that way you keep the line moving. Ridiculous on a busy night where 3 boroughs dumping and semi trucks picking up materials in such a small space, there's no structure or guidance. Vic the hardest working person there. Besides him this site is in shambles at night

I found a reasonably priced metal cabinet that I converted to cat "restroom". It's a great place to poke around and finds things to reuse and recycle.

Sometimes I dread going to a recycling place, you drop off your metal, get paid $20 and end up with a nail in your $80 tire. But not today at Beutel's, my wife and I couldn't believe how nice and clean this recycling center was. I couldn't have been there more than 15 minutes, but everyone was so friendly, I felt like I made 2 new friends. Nice clean place, friendly people, great price on my scrap, you can't do better than that.

This place is okay if you are nearby. I showed up on a Friday a half hour after they were supposed to be open. No one was around but there is a sign on the door saying to call the number listed and someone will be down to help. Well when you call it goes to an answering machine that you can't leave a message on. While I was waiting there for about 10-15min figuring out what I was going to do one of their trucks rolled in with two guys in it. I don't know if it's because I tried calling that number twice or if that's just when they decided to show up. Either way after they weigh the truck you unload everything by hand. I didn't get the best pricing for the scrap but I wasn't looking for cash, I was just cleaning up. Because I live right down the road I will continue to go here.

I had a very good experience with a legitimate member...that said, I did get multiple scam calls with all of the detail I have on my parts request. I alerted U Need a Part and they are working on better security. I'm hopeful they can resolve and make their site a safer place to shop.

ad was for a HT350 tubo for an oldsmobile. what I got was a ST300 REFUSED to take it back or give me a refund. $300 dollars down the tubes. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. the st300 is a two speed transmission.

I called bay view for a part after he announced the price, I tried to negotiate it. he hanged up the phone on me. The whole conversation lasted 22 sec. very unprofessional. I di not bother calling back because I will never call or buy from this place. Good luck calling.

I just called them and before I could get out a full sentence the guy says we don't sell parts and hung up VERY RUDE!!

Had an absolute wonderful experience with them. From the moment the phone was answered (1 ring) Trish, Office Personnel was very very friendly, kind and helpful. We brought our 2002 Hyundai Sonata to them for salvage. Process was painless. Before we traveled to them, we emailed paperwork we had showing no liens and our title to just confirm paperwork we had is what was needed. Trish was very patient with us since with-in the process my internet connection went away. Would highly recommend them. Was very happy to have formally met Trish as well as Jim the owner of the establishment. They were very courteous and very professional throughout the process with us. 5 Stars for sure! I met Big Moe this afternoon and can’t say enough about him. Definitely a standup guy.He made me an offer over the phone to pickup a vehicle I wanted to junk and stuck to it. He showed up on time, even gave me hand at his yard as I wanted to keep the tires. Another junkyard (Williams St) changed their agreement the day I wanted a tow. I should have went to Moes first, my bad.. They also sell tires along with auto parts. I have been around a long time and after a while you get tired of the BS…i.e.. “My man will get back to you” If you have no time for games..Call Big Moe. Thank you!
