Id give a no star if i could. Weve been coming to this place faithfully the last 5 year, and The people that work there now are very rude and disrespectful. Especially the woman at the front desk she always has something ignorant to say when we go there. They screw you over on your weight and prices everything. I recommend going to any other recycling place than here. Newport metals is better than this place!

I don't appreciate the driver of one of the tow trucks putting hands on the hood of my car while I was parked at dollar general in belmont. I didn't call for a tow and I wasn't illegally parked. Also inspecting my car and trailer for no reason. Not ok. Good thing I have a locking pin in my trailer

Not an easy place to get into with 53' BUT they are patient and willing to help guide you quick loading and very nice people

The gentleman that runs it, not only is he one of my husband's closest friends, but Bud is awesome at scrapping metal.the best place to bring your metal! He's very fair.

Recommended.Friendly guy named Adam got me the parts I needed and had them ready to go when I arrived. Four used rims for my truck, $50."She's not going to a beauty pageant, is she? Well, you'll be alright then." Two of the four even had tires with good tread on them. Now if they actually hold air I'll be super happy. But you can't beat the price, nor the fast, friendly service and conversation.

Large 50 foot scales, completive prices on most metals, they take stoves and refrigerators at no cost which most places charge you to get rid of them. closest recycling facility to Bangor and I95, No idea what the previous review is talking about. Most likely a fake review from a competitor.

The lady on the phone was super rude she delt with me calling the 1st few times because they were late then tbe last interaction she had a guy get on the phone as she is hollering over him so neither one of us could hear each other!! She didn't give the guy any information about the car I was selling he was confused so he left without the car then was told to come back and grab it. They driver was nice but they were super late I told them 3:15 final sale with at 3:44... never again will I deal with them or recommend them to anyone!!!!

Got a flat tire and needed a new one asap. Nobody in town would answer their phone and if anybody did answer they wouldn't be able to do any work for over a week. Gave M&P a call, they told me they had the tire in stock, said they could put it on same day. Drove over, tire was perfect, they stopped what they were doing and threw the tire on for me. Could not have been happier they couldn't have done a better job. Lots of folks on here sound like they've had negative interactions with the guys. I'd recommend being polite, say yes sir, and tell them your appreciation after they help you out and provide the service or product. Will definitely be back.

BE CAREFUL OF THE TARE WEIGHT THEY MINUS IT'S ALWAYS 5LBS... I HAD THREE OF THE MIDSIZE BLACK TOTES LOST 15LBS. I'M PRETTY SURE THOSE TOTES DON'T WEIGH 5 LB SO JUST EXPECT A TYPICAL 5 LB NO MATTER WHAT, BETTER OFF JUST DUMPING THE COPPER ON THE SCALE. PLUS WHATEVER THEY QUOTE YOU IT'S NOT THE SAME.

Reasonably priced. And when the part didn't fit my car they quickly had it returned and replaced with the correct part. I will definitely call them again if i need parts for my car

Original Review: I hired Casella (and so did two of my immediate neighbors) for seasonal / Saturday trash pickup for our rental property in Old Orchard Beach, ME. Yesterday (July 24, 2021) was the second time this season they failed to pick up our trash. I tried calling yesterday to alert them at 2pm and was only able to speak with an answering service who essentially told me there's nothing she can do and no one she can call. We now have 11 over flowing trash barrels on the side of the street till Tuesday. This is the second time this has happened this season.Update: Bumping up my review to 3 stars. After I emailed one of the higher ups, he promptly called me and personally came over with a trailer to pick up the trash. He obviously cares about customer satisfaction and I genuinely appreciate what he did. He informed me that what happened was due to a labor shortage. While I'm sympathetic to the labor challenge, when you pay for a service you expect it to be delivered.

Bought many parts from the guys here. Honest, down to earth and always busy taking care of business. Very reasonable prices and a great inventory.
