I have used a national junk removal company before but I've been trying to 'shop local.' So a friend referred me to Anything Goes. They were fantastic. Teddy, the owner, returned my call within a few minutes. The crew came, disassembled our swing set and took away several other items that have been sitting in the driveway for weeks. My dad passed away and the assisted living place referred me to Anything Goes. There were a few pieces of broken furniture and bags of trash. Dad had a number of pieces of medical equipment that I know insurances may not cover and people in need could use. My husband and I had no room in our trailer to take them. My plan was to go back the next day to collect them and donate them. Well I had no emotional or physical energy to go back to the apartment. I called Ted, the owner of Anything Goes, and added removal of the equipment to his list, telling him how badly I felt about trashing valuable items that others could use. After the apartment clean out was done, Ted told me that his team separated the walkers and wheelchairs and took them to a place where people could take them if they needed them.I was grateful. The bill was very modest and considering that it was Boston, I was expecting a bill that was twice what Ted sent.Kind, helpful, reassuring, trustworthy and reasonably priced. This was not my first time working with Anything Goes, and it will not be my last. I sent an email to Ted on a Thursday, and he was at my house to take a look and give a quote the very next day - his crew showed up shortly after that and removed our construction debris. Not only were they extremely responsive, but the pricing was completely reasonable given the job (and how hot it was outside...), and they were extremely respectful of our property. I'd highly suggest using Anything Goes for any needed removal services, and my suggestion would be, make it easy for them to work and give a generous tip to the crew.
