I bought a Ram Promaster 2500 engine and had it shipped to Florida. After shop installation it runs and drives perfectly. The staff was courteous and VERY helpful, even with my questions throughout the process. Thumbs up. 5 stars!

I recently came across your ad online for an engine that I needed for my vehicle. I call George from Astro auto wrecking and talk to him for a little bit before I asked for his address to meet him in person at his location. George was very knowledgeable and was kind enough to walk me through the steps that I need to know what to replace my engine. He supplied me all the paperwork I needed along with my warrantee and paperwork and had my engine deliver it to the mechanic shop that I was going to get my engine installed. When the engine arrived at the mechanic, my mechanic called me and was very satisfied with the quality of the engine that George had Sent me.It took my mechanic about three business days to install the engine in my vehicle. After I picked up my vehicle I can completely tell the difference of the new engine that I had purchased from George right after the first 10 miles I drove it. I called George to come pick up the core he was kind enough to do it for free. It’s been about two months now that I’m driving my vehicle and I thought I would take the time to tell you that these guys are the real deal. I spoke to about five other wrecking yard before I made my decision to pick up George as my candidate for my used engine replacement. I am very Happy with my purchase and will be definitely recommending my friends and family to this establishment. Very friendly and kind people with knowledge and understanding when it comes to a single mother that doesn’t know much about cars. Thank you for all your help

This is the third engine that I buy with this company I'm more than happy with all they have done for me and the service they have provided for me. I recently bought a 2006 Escalade engine for a project and George Went above and beyond to help me with a motor that was going to last me for a very long time. Hello I came from San Diego CA looking for a suspension I lucky founded in Astro Auto parts. Unfortunately there was a misunderstanding. And I left with the idea of having all my parts I drove to San Bernardino means while my parts were getting ready. Once I came back I found out that it was only certain parts and not what I was informed at first I was really upset about it BUT kindly Mr. George & Mr. Robert took care of me and they respect the fact that it was a misunderstanding and provide me with the full parts from the ideas that I had at first due to that type of EXCELLENT service I left really HAPPY!! Very fairly priced for a used low mileage engine. George made it super easy and simple. Installed the engine myself and was very satisfied with the outcome. Thank you George you’re amazing!

on 3/16/2020 I purchased a 4.6L Engine with a 90 Day warranty from Astro via George who was very helpful and polite. I had the engine delivered and installed at Hall's Radiator & Engine for $1539 but due to Covid19 and the stay at home order I was not able to drive my truck anywhere following the orders.I needed to goto San Diego once the restrictions were lessened and on the way back the engine broke down. ZERO Compression in cylinders 4 & 8 so I contacted George once gain and he honored the 90 day warranty and replaced the engine and said he had a $1600 labor claim into corporate.Long story short I paid an additional $1460 to have the second engine installed after being told by George that I would be reimbursed by corporate. I sent via text both bills to George 1 for $1200 for engine R&R and 2 for $260 for valve cover replacement because the valve cover arrived broken and the bolt needed redrilled & tapped due to shipping.Then wouldn't you know it NOTHING no response zilch ! So the following Monday I reached out again keeping in mind this is just business and nothing personal asking if he had heard back from corporate on my labor claim..Once again no response..So today 6/9/2020 I once again reach out via text to George explaining the I'm aware this is buiness but his choice of ignoring me is now personal and if needed I will take legal action to recover my losses..Well he finally responded with "Great Ill See You There With a Countersuit" mind you i have everything in writing..So that being said I would recommend the unless you want to be sold defective parts and get ripped off for Thousands of Dollars DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ASTRO AUTO once again DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ASTRO AUTO..Its a shame George works for his Dad who owns the company and is nothing more than a shade tree chop shop..Check BBB they have an F Rating for this very thing with multiple people

I had an amazing experience with this company when purchasing my engine on my 2008 Chevy Tahoe. After shopping around I ended up going with this company because they provided me with not only great service but reassurance that my engine will be up and running again. I purchased the engine on 7/21/2019 and had it installed if you days later. I’ve been driving my vehicle for over a month and it runs excellent. I went back a few weeks later to buy me a few more parts that I needed for the interior and they really took care of me on the price. My car is in perfect working condition at the moment and will be recommending friends and family to come to this location for future Parts they need for their vehicle. I am above and beyond satisfied with the service and the product thank you again. Will be back for future needs

George was much help. I bought a 6.2 engine and transmission from him to restore into my 72 Chevy and I was fortunate enough to find this guy. I was shopping around for a month or two and felt comfortable enough to go ahead with the purchase form George and I'm beyond happy I did so. Took me about a month to install the engine and trans and it came out to be a beauty. Will be referring a lot of business to this company. THANKS GEORGE!

Very professional people at this location. George sold me an engine for my 2012 Escalade. I had the dealer install the motor and my vehicle was retuned a week later. I've been driving it for about 6 months and I haven't had any issues. I went in 2 weeks ago because I broke my mirror to my truck and George remembered who I was and gave it to me for half the cost. Will be doing a lot more business with this company and will be sending a lot of my friends and family over there! Thank you once again for the amazing service!
