Rented a car was nice car reasonably priced

The 2013 Chevy equinox that’s 10k I took for a test drive and decided I didn’t want it because it started hard. I told him and he decided to go out there and turn it off and on again a few times and all of a sudden a check engine light came on, I told him I didn’t want it and got huffy and stormed back inside . They drove it off for a tiny bit and put it right back out there. Nothing against them just make sure you aren’t getting a car that codes have been cleared.
