I had a very pleasant experience with Buckman Iron and Metal. I needed to get a car towed and scrapped. They set me up with a tow company who was very prompt and professional. I am not up to date on metal recycling prices, but I felt what I received was very fair. The man working ended up cashing me out with more than I was due because the car was so light and the tow charge was almost all of what the car was worth. I will use them again if the need arises.

Just went there today. Wonderfully helpful staff. Ken helped us find the copper & brass, as well as aluminum. This allowed us to get more money for our recycling. A big thank you to Ken for keeping the customers happy!

The men handling the unloading of aluminum cans for weighing are the greatest you'd ever want to meet...superb personalities! But, I gotta say that If you don't mind driving through a WWII bomb site, taking a chance on picking up nails in your tires or getting your suspension destroyed by the craters, then this is the place to go.

The clerk usually comes off as rude. But I give him a pass because he probably deals with idiots all day. It's a scrap yard not Target. What do you people want? I have always been happy with the cash received from recycling.

The man on the phone needs to be knocked out. I called for pricing and he had no clue what the prices were. So instead of doing his job he said "I'm too busy to deal with customers right now" and hung up.

Pleasant experience doing business with buckman iron and metal scrap yard. Good prices and very "neat/organized" for a recycling center. Hard working crew and very informative. Ive been going to the same scrapyard for over 15 years (uss aucheys) but im looking forward to doing business w these guys in the future from now on. Stay warm and humble!

Terrible front office, called to ask a question- no answer provided and I was hung up on. If you don’t believe try calling the facility - from my experience I suspect this is how that individual functions on a daily basis.
