I normally like this place to get car parts but I was there on a Saturday morning looking for a fuel level sensor and the sales person was rude and kind of an ahole.Rather than helping me look up a possible usable replacement, he insisted that the only way to get it was to buy an entire fuel pump assembly. I showed him pictures of the part online and had talked to other parts dealers in the area and they could all find the part but didnt have it in stock. He still insisted the only way I could buy the part was to purchase the whole assembly and wasted my time.

This is a long one, but stick with me for this thrill ride...Purchased a car battery online, for which they advertised free installation. When I arrived, there was one other customer in the store. 2 guys were sitting on stools behind the counter, doing nothing, and another one was in back. The fourth guy rang me out and then informed me that they were too busy to install my battery...too busy?I informed them that I would not be making another 2 hour round trip to town to bring back the core, if I went home and changed it myself, and elected to return the battery. I was then informed that MAYBE they could squeeze me in for the battery swap, since they were no longer “slammed” with all the work none of them were doing...They proceeded to remove my battery and then tell me I purchased the wrong size replacement (I later discovered that I didn’t, but the factory battery was 3 inches shorter in length than the max size that could fit in the tray). They then attempted to install a cheaper, “correct size” battery. When I called them out for the cheaper battery, they said it was all they had in stock, but they did not openly inform me of the inferior product or make any indication that they intended to refund me the difference in cost. (I believe they simply hoped I wouldn’t notice the switch).I again decided to proceed with the return and was told I would have to “return it online” because they couldn’t figure out how to do the return, in store. I told them that online returns are not a real thing people do, but they insisted. “So I could take the battery and then ‘return it online’ and you would have no money and no battery?” I asked. This confused them, greatly. Therefore, I requested they contact someone from their company to teach them how to complete the return, and they said “Nobody works on Saturday.” I called customer service for them, myself, from my own phone...Customer service then informed me that I would have to wait, two hours, for the “system to process” before I could do the return, but I could not leave with the battery or they wouldn’t take it back. I ended up leaving, while the store kept the battery AND my $160. They did, eventually, process the refund (the only silver lining around the ink-black cloud of this experience.)I will never go back. I would drive another two hours to Bismarck before I would patronize this store again.Terrible customer (I guess you’d call it “service”)...complete lack of understanding how to run their own register/inventory system...none of the other 3 employees who were standing around even made an attempt to help out...shady practices trying to switch the battery I purchased with a cheaper one...inability or unwillingness to identify that the battery tray could accept the battery I originally purchased...You cannot get any worse than this store. Terrible experience in every aspect of the word. Avoid this place unless you hate yourself and like to be frustrated and miserable.Went to Auto Zone and they were extremely helpful, friendly, and replaced my battery (with the same size as the one I purchased from this store) without any problems. Go there. Save yourself the frustration.

The last 4 visits to this parts house garnered zero results. It's like walking into an O'Reilly's. If it's not in the computer they're clueless! Customer service sucks!

I ordered a part and the gentleman said it would be 3 days until it got here so, 9 days later it finally came in. I wasn't mad about the wait but, what I was mad about is that I ordered a part through them and then I had to pay for the shipping because they didn't have it in stock. I don't know about anyone else but, that has never been the case at any other auto parts store that I have gone to.. $59.99 part with $14 shipping. It isn't the customers fault that you don't have it in stock so why should the customer get the short end of the stick because of your inability to have something. My recommendation: never order anything, if it isn't in the store, go to NAPA or O'Rielly. Better yet, don't even go here!

Literally handed them the stud from a hub to find a matching lug nut and they couldn't do it. You cannot return anything from other car quest stores because they are not associate with them. Not very good service.
