I was extremely nervous for my move. The 2 gentleman that came to do my job were the up most respectful and polite human beings i have ever met.They met exceeded my expectations when it comes to the thought of movers from a moving company. I have never had a company bend over backwards for me and put so much stress on themselves just to meet my needs.I certainly will recommend the hunks to anyone who wants their job done right the first time!

These guys saved me a ton of trouble! I had to clear out the basement so I could get ready for the holidays. I had a family member use College Hunks and they highly recommended them. They had the Junk manager come down and see what it was going to cost and then booked the job before he even left! Doug and Mike took care of everything quick fast and in a hurry with no problems and the price was reasonable and saved me a hassle!

Just a few miles up the road with a small 2 bedroom house, only large items were needed to be moved. I really expected an easy process. I called around locally and went with college hunks due to their 2 hr minimum and 15 minute incremental charge.Unfortunately I had a similar experience to others where we were wildly overcharged. I kept track of every minute they were here and working because of their 15 minute increment rule but they ended up charging me for 4.5 hours of work for a 2.5 hour project. As well we had 3 people show up, 2 of them were putting the effort in and the other was seemingly lost and barely contributed at all.So not only was it closer to 2 people than the 3 they had promised working, they pulled the same "mistake" i have seen others comment on. In the middle of the job they grabbed a bite to eat and drove to the wrong address, hence a full hour they expected to be paid while I just sat and waited at my other address.I recognize my move wasn't huge and that these guys need to be paid for their work but it was really disappointing. I would not recommend working with this company. Additionally, I already left them comments on their website directly and nobody has followed up, so I figured to share my story here to help others save time and money.

When I called the 1-800# they were very friendly & courteous. They walked me through everything to make sure all rooms and valuables would be taken care of properly and safely.Then on the moving day Zach & Antonio called before arriving and once here they were very friendly and did a walk through to review what was being moved. They took great care with everything and wrapped & blanketed all valuables & furniture that they felt needed protection.Both were very professional and I am very pleased with the moving service. Next time I move I will definitely be going with College Hunks again. Very professional with great customer care service.

Was actually blown away by this company. Came in and out, fast and efficient. Not only did they complete the job quickly but they went above and beyond to make sure my family and I were happy and comfortable during the process. They said they are "the university of stress free service" and I couldn't agree more! Highly Recommend!

We paid over $1700 for furniture to be moved into a storage unit from our apartment. This was almost double the original amount estimated which included 3 guys. Only 2 guys showed up and they said we’d be charged a “reduced rate” since the original estimate included 3 guys - come to find out we were charged almost double the quote with less labor! Of course it took longer because there was less labor provided, and my husband had to act as a third person. Seems like this bait and switch tactic has been used in multiple reviews on this company. This is dishonest and deceitful. Also movers refused to take a large desk (since it was against company policy), however we were never told that some furniture doesn’t qualify to be moved. So we had to find another truck to take the remaining furniture, creating more of a hassle/time/and money. Further, my husband had to wait almost an hour at the storage unit for the movers to arrive after an agreed time was set to meet following their lunch break - that was unprofessional.When we called the company to complain on the insane amount of money they charged, they did not call us back after several attempts. We feel like we were robbed. Further, we had all furniture dissembled upon arrival - many other companies we have used in the past assembled and dissembled furniture which was included in the price that was a significantly lower amount than through College Hunks. I’m appalled that we fell for this scam - will never use this company again.

This was the first time I ever hired movers. John and Mike were INCREDIBLY professional, polite and mindful of my belongings during the move. They were efficient and 100% worth the money. Would go with them again.

We had a pretty small moving project but it was such a relief to have the this company help us! The condition of my belongings were in great shape, nothing was damaged. They took great care in wrapping the more delicate furniture and letting me know when something was leaking from one of my boxes (my Coffee maker had a little water leaking) and they notified me right away so I could check the box and make sure it didn’t cause damage. Very good communication and nice guys. Overall great experience!Only thing is my estimate wasn’t accurate and I paid over $200 more than I thought because the move took longer than was estimated by the initial assessment- not a huge problem but I wish that the timing was more accurately assessed at the initial meeting when I signed up for services. Just anticipate it will take longer than projected and ultimately cost more. Other than that I would use this service again!

College Hunks were recommended to me by a coworker who had used them February of this year to move.I am so thankful she did!The process of booking was easy and pleasant.The 2 gentlemen were polite, respectful and very efficient.I will not hesitate to use and/or recommended in the future.Doug and Tim, thank you for all your hard work!

Called College Hunks to set up a time to have some furniture moved from an apartment in Concord - some to move to Maine and some to be hauled away. The person that I spoke with was polite, knowledgeable and told me that College Hunks was available on the day that I wanted. He told me to expect a call the next day between 9 - 11 am from an estimator. The next day - no call. I called twice to find out about the call - both times someone said they would get back to me but didn't. After a very frustrating day, I found someone else to do the job. I have used College Hunks before (in Massachusetts), but will never use them again!
