Called D&S to tow my car to the dealership when the engine failed. They were responsive and got to me quickly! Love supporting a local Guthrie business, very kind and neighborly, reasonable pricing. Being from out of town and stuck on the side of the road, I was nervous to contact a local tow company and being taken advantage of. Don showed up within minutes, clearly explained pricing for the 40 mile tow I needed, was professional and went above and beyond to make the best of my tough situation. Road tripping destination Oklahoma City. Sunday morning we broke down between Stillwater OK and Oklahoma City on a back road, transmission problem with our truck. D&S Automotive & Wrecker was the first number I tried and I am lucky that Don answered my call. The wait was shorter than I would of ever expected and in no time we were loaded and headed back to his shop. Don took the time to talk to us and find out where we were going and when we had to be home. I was comfortable knowing that he would get it done right and as quickly as possible. I won’t tell you how great Don treated us because other people would look to take advantage of his generosity. My own family doesn’t care for each other as well as Don and his wife cared for and helped us. We made it to OKC that same afternoon and spent our time enjoying the city and the sites we came to see while we waited for the trucked to be repaired. The call came in and the truck was ready to go. We made our way back to Guthrie. The services that D&S provided for us, towing and repair, were above expectation and the price was more than fair. The treatment we received was and is priceless. We live 800 miles away from Guthrie OK and I know that we will be back, even if it’s just to visit Don at D&S Automotive & Wrecker. I was charged 100$ for a 6 mile trip (3 miles each way) no tow, just a ride to the local tire shop, on a Friday morning at 10 am. I don’t want to believe that if my skin tone was a lot lighter the price would of been lower, but from the bottom of my heart I believe so. Plus the service driver did not have a mask on in the midst of a pandemic.

Had car trouble in Guthrie on a Saturday afternoon. Called dealer and they said they could look at it that day if I got there before 3pm. Called D&S at 1:50pm and told dispatcher my dilemma. She said, " You're not making it easy on me. We'll get someone right out". The driver was there about 2, hooked up and got me to Edmond with 10 minutes to spare. A++++ service!

We had a flat tire on the side of the road and wasn't able to find any help in the town we were stranded at. We were able to get help from this towing company and he saved our day. I highly recommend!

I have his number in my phone just in case. Well "just in case" happened and I blew a tire on I-35 and popped another off the rim. D&S Automotive was my first call once I knew I was okay (a ride to get home was the second). Not having to worry about who to call made the situation less stressful.

I took my truck in for an oil change informed me I needed according to mileage some flushing and plugs. My truck runs better and it was done in a timely matter. It even came back cleaner than I left it. Great service.
