You'll notice a theme on these reviews and mine is the same story. Insurance contracted these guys to help me out and they never showed. They called me and told me they were on their way and then when they didn't show up over an hour later I called and they said my insurance had cancelled the job. I called my insurance and they told me that Doug's cancelled the job. Having dealt with my insurance company many times before and seeing the reviews here pretty much confirmed that Doug's was the one lying. If you're looking for a good towing company, get in touch with CR towing. Those guys actually came to my rescue and they are absolute pros

Horrible towing company. I used my Progressive roadside assistance. I have no idea why they use this company. They changed my ETA 3 times and wasted hours of my time. Been trying to get a tow since 8 am and it is now 1:35pm. I just canceled.

Horrible service. Requested tow through USAA insurance company and the driver never showed. Much like other reviews, dispatcher for company claimed after several contacts that the driver “would be there in 30 minutes.” After 3.5 hours, I had to request insurance provider to cancel this company and request another company to tow my car.

I called my insurance company to have dogs transport pick up my car to tow it to a tire repair company I waited four hours only to find out that no truck was coming this is the worst towing company in Harrisburg Pennsylvania do not use them they stink

So they were 5 hours late picking up my truck. But I have to give them 5 stars because the poor guy had to push my heavy truck out of an uphill driveway obey the road by himself haha poor guy I hope he didn't pull his back out

Started claim for a tow at 5:15 was told eta 7:15-7:45 time continued to get pushed back when they bothered to pick up their phone. Waited 3 more hours and several other missed calls to then have my insurance change companies. I Wouldn't reccomend to anyone.

Referred for warranty at 11:45 a.m. with First ETA from warranty of 12:45-1 p.m in Mount Joy. Called & spoke directly with reception from Doug's at 12:30 and Updated (2nd) ETA was 1:30. Called them Again at 2:15 & was told new (3rd) ETA was approximately 40-45 minutes, around 3 p.m. Called again at 3 p.m. and was told he was 5-7 minutes from my location. At 3:20 driver Shane Finally called to say he would be there in 30 minutes per his GPS coming from Reading. It wasn't until 4:05 p.m. that he pulled into the parking lot.I called the service center where it was to be delivered at 5:30 p.m. because Doug's Never bothered to call to confirm delivery. All total, this company cost me 4.5 hours of my day along with the $100 the warranty paid them to transport the vehicle.

My insurance contracted Doug's to take my car to Sinking spring, I was stranded in lancaster...Doug's left me stranded there, even though I had already paid with my credit card, a half hour was too much for them. Hours later, I am still stranded in Lancaster. I hope I don't die here, but if I do, Doug won't care, Doug will be responsible. I hope you are not counting on Doug's, they won't help for any price. I hope I get a refund. Uh oh, storm clouds...still stranded, thanks Doug's transport

Company contracted through my insurance for a tow. Shane was at the car at the time estimated, was extremely professional and personable, and took the time to explain what was probably going on with my vehicle.Had not heard of Doug's prior to this but based on my experience, would certainly recommend and utilize again.

Just had their service this morning through my Insurance company. Texted the destination address to the guy who towed my Car when he was on the way to come. He brought to the wrong address. Called the company right away to correct his mistake and It came out they charged the 2nd round for it. This is ridiculous.
