My fiance and I got towed today by Jeff who was very kind and professional. He made the process easy and was very friendly during the drive back to our hometown. He made a bad day not as bad as it could have been and we were really grateful! He also got to us in a timely manner. The tow truck driver drove my car up on the rollback instead of hooking it up and letting the truck pull the car up and by driving it up the tail pipes scraped against the pavement. After picking my car up from the car shop I went to car wash and noticed all 4 tailpipes have handfulls of gravel in each of them. The car shop has a gravel lot so the tow truck driver drove my car (again) off the flatbed ramp! My car shouldn’t have been driven whatsoever!! My car now shakes driving down the road making me think he hooked the chain or pulley to a wrong part of my car and my muffler is very loose!! I’m waiting on AAA to get back to me about this but wanted to leave a review.

If it was possible to give more stars, I would. Yesterday, I was running errands and my car wouldn't start. I was supposed to pick up my kids from camp in 1.5 hours. My husband was on a plane to Miami and my sister and good friend were out of town. I wasn't sure what was wrong or what to do and during COVID I was nervous about safety too. I called AAA and Nathan from Drumheller's Towing was at my location within 15 minutes. He jumped out of his truck and immediately put me at easy with his professional friendly manner. He quickly diagnosed my problem as a dead battery. He had the model of battery I needed on his truck. The replacement was quick and efficient. I was on the road to pick up my kids with time to spare. Terrible experience with this company, I needed to have my car towed to Richmond from Charlottesville and called aaa who set me up with Drumhellers. They were two and a half hours late after the time they said they would be there to tow and then the tow truck driver broke a handle in my car and when I contacted the company they denied it. Would not recommend using.Service: Car towing

Terrible experience with this company. Aside from being fairly efficient at towing my SUV, they were very difficult to work with. The driver was very angry when I did speak to him and then my vehicle was towed to their lot instead of to the location we had planned on it being towed to. I was not informed of the change so anxiously waited up for hours for them to arrive; I did try to call many times with no answer. Finally in the morning I was able to get ahold of them to find out where my car was. They would not allow a locksmith in to fix it, so I had to pay them more to have them tow it off their property and when I retrieved my vehicle the rear bumper was damaged. I cannot prove that a car didn't go in to the almost empty, very isolated parking lot and hit it while I was not present, but with how unlikely that is and how angry and difficult the driver was, I am quite certain that it was the towing company. Very overpriced and when I contacted them about my issues with their company, they turned everything back on me in a degrading manner, very unprofessional.

Had brake issues on the Parkway and we called AAA and were referred to Dumhellers. The contractor was on time, kind, professional, and actually helped us with our car when he got there so we didn't actually need a tow and we're able to get to our destination. George from Drumhellers is my savior. He brought a flatbed up a whole mountain and then back down again to rescue me from a bad accident on a narrow gravel road.
