I wish I would have looked at the reviews before I ordered my car door moulding from them. I asked for them to salvage any rivets (they gave me one). Not a big deal!! They broke 6 out of the 12 rivet connector pieces on the moulding!!! What good is moulding that won't connect to the car?Edit: they sent the wrong side and I called in and they are sending the correct piece and were able to salvage 12 out of thr 13 clips in the moulding from the picture they sent. Great customer service to fix the issueNew Edit update: finally received the correct part 2 weeks later (about a month since the original order)... 9 out of the 12 clips were busted/falling off so turns out the issue was not fixed. Good luck to anyone trying to order a part from them that's not broken

Sold me used seat. Worked good. Fair price

I bought a grade A, drive tested transmission with 115k Miles. I paid $1650 + $150 for 2-3 day shipping. This was supposedly already out of the donor truck and would be crated and shipped out that day or by next morning. 4 days later it was being removed from the truck and getting ready to be shipped. At the very end of day 7, it was delivered to the shop. This thing was nasty muddy and greasy.Had it installed, only to find it was missing 4th and 5th gear. Hard shifted from 3rd into 6th. Had truck sent to Toyota to flash it. They concluded same as the original shop, that valve body was bad and needed $3500 rebuild on top of the $2400 that I already spent on this one.Eastern originally offered to discount $800 of the purchase price, which meant I would have $1000 in a $200 transmission core. Then it was offered a $1650 refund, but I have to get it shipped (another $400) or drive the 225 miles each way to deliver myself.No resolution to date!

I had purchased a set of door panels online from these guys and when they pulled the panels off the vehicle, they say that the condition of the plastic was severely weathered and contacted me to see if I wanted to purchase with a discount or if I wanted to cancel the purchase all together. I see no reason why people would leave such bad reviews for Eastern Auto Salvage because they provided outstanding care and were honest with the situation. I don't believe that we are seeing the scope of these bad reviews. Thanks again EAS for being an honest business .

Horrible and terrible unprofessional customer service! They get annoyed about trying to help you on what you need from the front desk! I will definitely not recommend anyone to buy from this savage yard! They will rather charge you extra to pull parts out for you rather to let you pull yourself! I was told my part was getting shipped to a certain day and turns out they haven’t even shipped it out after waiting a week! Be aware everyone!!

Called on a Monday Afternoon for a third row seat that was listed on Car-part with a picture. The picture showed a seat in great shape. Paid over the phone with a credit card, Was told the seat would be out Tuesday at lunch time. My driver showed up (185 Miles from me) to pick up the seat and the seat was no good, Was told they had pictures to send me but they forgot to send them. Complete waste of a day to go pick it up.

Called these people on Monday to order a part they claimed to have in stock said they would call back and didn't. I reached out Wednesday to try again I spoke to John. First he was quick to say " We dont have it" when questioned about the 6 that were listed in stock magically one was on the shelf. Friday comes around and the first lie from Dan was "we sent it ups yesterday" I asked for the tracking number and suddenly "UPS is having a delay and it'll have to be the following Monday " talk about ridiculous. Best believe their not someone id recommend even if they're the last place on earth theyll obviously try to spoon feed you BS and fairy tales.

THIS PLACE SOLD ME BAD INJECTORS!! THEY ARE THEIVES!!!Strung me along for 2 months asking me to check different things on the diesel truck and I was telling them the whole time that their injectors they sold me were bad. They finally told me to return them and I did. Called them for two weeks while they kept saying thery were "processing" my refund. Finally I disputed transaction on my credit card and it got denied because I waited longer than 60days to dispute it. Called them and they said they won't refund my money because they only have a 30day return policy. They wouldn't even send me bad the bad injectors they sold me so I could at least use them as a core for when I bought new ones. Had to call local police in their jurisdiction to force them to return injectors to me. These people are outright liars...cheaters...and thieves...BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!YOU WILL BE SCREWED BY THESE PEOPLE

Very pleased with these guys. I purchased an alternator for my Corvette. They even offered me a warranty. The alternator was already pulled and waiting for me to pick it up. I will be a return customer for sure! 👍
