Great place an great service! They have always had what I've needed....

I spent 30 mins with my tires, getting cut in line, only to find out its cash only. This might be common knowledge to some, but I haven't been to a salvage yard in years. A sign at the gate would have been nice. I return 5 or 10 mins later with my cash and have to get back in line. No big deal. Then when it's finally my turn again, another 10 mins later, insted of taking my money, she decides to have a 10 min conversation with another "customer" about him fixing her personal vehicle. Got out her phone and showed pictures and arranged a meet and everything. Only after I have waited no less than 45 mins in total, she takes my money, offering NO appology for her piss poor work ethic or time wasting personal problems. Finally, after returning home, closer inspection shows one patched tire and one with dry rot. I will not be returning for any reason.

I love coming out to the yard with my husband to get parts. It reminds me of my dad and I when I was young. They have always had the cars we needed parts for and are friendly and helpful. The ladies in the office are super nice and i would definitely recommend checking this place first for all your car needs! Also Matt I had a great idea for a senior project that would help local needy too. I would love to help out with it! Haha.

Garden City Iron & Metal were exceedingly kind. They took care of our junk car and we're courteous and prompt. I'm so glad we called them, the hunk of junk was off my property within hours of speaking with them. I would 100% go with Garden City again.

They have fair prices on scrap metal and car parts compared to other yards. Employees are very helpful with smiling faces and kindness to the customers. Easy to locate scale and helping hand are available .
