I had to pull off a busy street when the car came to a grinding halt. When the tow truck driver arrived, he immediately saw what was happening with my rear wheel and knew how to repair it on the spot. No need to tow the car anywhere! He made the repair quickly and securely and I was on my way.

I went into a restaurant for 2 hours late at night and came out to find that my car was gone. I didn’t see the signs posted - an honest mistake on my part. Their office was 1.5 miles away, so I was told that I had to turn a brisk 40 minute walk into a 20 minute run in 55 degree weather or to “call an Uber or something” so that they didn’t have to wait for me more than 10 minutes in their heated office. After arriving and deciding that I wasn’t going to be paying nearly $300 to get my car back after hours and I’d be back in the morning for the $195 fee, I was screamed at and practically shoved out of their office. He wouldn’t answer any of my questions; it was very clear that he didn’t care about my car and simply wanted my money. The woman the next morning was as sweet as could be and extremely helpful, but the miserable old man (which I think was the owner) has no idea how to decently treat a human being. It takes a person with empathy and patience to deal with concerned car owners - both of which he doesn’t have.Overall, an awful experience. Looking forward to the months ahead where I can hopefully block out this memory.

I had work at 9:30am this morning. On my walk out to the parking lot of my apartment complex, I noticed that my car was completely gone. I distinctly remembered parking in a spot directly opposite my building two nights prior as I normally do. Because I had my parking permit displayed and have had no issues for the past 7 weeks, I assumed it was stolen. I had to call off work, I called the police, and I called my apartment complex.I got sent on a wild goose chase looking for my car and eventually got directed to John Tennis Towing. When I called, I found out they had my car and I was rudely told I can come resolve it in person only between 11am-1pm, with little other details. When I asked how I was supposed to get there without a car, the guy rudely responded with "call an uber or something". When I got there, it was clear that they were in the wrong, as they threw my receipt away and told me to get my car. My permit was displayed but they said I should move it to the back window, even though my apartment allows me to have it on either. It is clear to me this company is extremely careless as they did not even take the time to look at my front winshield to see my permit. The poor girl in front of me seemed frustrated and had just been charged over $100, who knows what happened to her.Parking enforcement is only a frustrating scheme for money and is not even carried out accurately. Do better, John Tennis Towing.

This place needs to be shut down. Just read ALL OF THE REVIEWS. Every complaint is 100% accurate. Taking advantage of kids/parents in a college town and getting away with it. Something needs to be done. How do people like this actually sleep at night... Service: Car towing

Scammers, I would recommend leaving your car on the side of the road over calling them.

If you're paying for a tow with a card, they will tell base the card info over the radio. Turns out, they don't use encryption on their channel at all, so anybody who wanted to could essentially skim your card info- I've listened to their channel for fun, and made this discovery. If that doesn't tell you how little they care, I don't know what will. They don't use rollbacks for lot patrol, so you better hope the operator knows which cars are anything other than FWD and uses dollies accordingly. If you're a property owner looking for lot patrol, keep looking. None of the local tow companies ever do a consistent job at removing incorrectly parked vehicles. You'll get lots of visits from them around university move-in, and whenever there's large events such as football, but you'll hardly see them any other time. It's not uncommon to see cars without permits that manage to go undetected (I'm rootin' for y'all, don't get towed by anybody around here). They have a garage, but I can't speak much of it. Although the fact that I'm yet to hear anybody say they brought their car there should tell you that it's probably not that good.

My boyfriend and I went to get his car back from this company. It was there for 2 hours and they charged $195.... which is ridiculous. Dustin helped us and made a point to give us the most rude and unprofessional attitude I have ever been encountered with by customer service. Good luck with these people. They’re the worst.

I was in an accident early in the morning and Tennis towed my car. Right away the woman cleaning up the damaged car pieces off the road was super HELPFUL.When I went to their office to get some more information, the same woman was working. Man, was she so FRIENDLY and RESOURCEFUL!I’m sure most of the negative reviews on here are from college students who parked where they shouldn’t have and are mad over their mistake!THANK YOU, TENNIS!

If I could give negative stars I would. The guy who towed my car cussed and screamed at me and when I tried to file a complaint, the people in the office wouldn’t let me. I have no clue what the names were because they wouldn’t tell me and were completely unprofessional. Will be reporting.
