Very friendly staff always an in out experience one of the best places to scrap my only complaint is that alot of the times when you junk a car they are always paying about 2 to 4 dollars less then some of the other places but aside from that they are pleasure to do business with

Do not go!!!! 2 years ago flat tire. This time huge chunk of steal. Flat tire even before got off of scale. Talked to management. What a joke. Looks at me like I had Herpes...lol. Hauled scrap for nothing till get tire patched wasn't worth it. Should have gone to Kantner. They pay better and keep thier yard clean.

I was recently at Johnstown Scrap with a friend of mine & I just have to say I was very pleased with their service & prices, 2 of their employees really stuck out to me, they were extremely helpful & polite answered any question I asked, They were Matthew in the aluminum area & Jason who was out at the washers / ferrous area, as this was my 1st time there & I will return there in the future when I need to take in scrap. Thanks guys for your patience with my questions.

My friend and I recently stopped close to closing time. We've been to other scrap places in the last few months, and none of them were employed with as nice and helpful people as Johnstown Scrap. My papers had the name MSinclair listed as who helped me in the building, and he was very understanding and patient with me. I also went into the back and got help from someone working the machines, he told me his name was Jason. He assisted with getting some of the things separated and out of the vehicle. Overall, it was a very good experience and I will recommend all of my friends to this scrap yard. Thank you for so much help

I was at the yard a few months ago with my uncle to bring some metal in. The guy who rang our copper wire in was very helpful. He helped my uncle sort it out so he made better money. He ttold my uncle his name was matt. The receipt said scale master: msinclair
