This place is awesome! I had the Italian and it was really good. My husband had the Philly cheese steak and really liked it. My son had the hamburger and was happy with it and my daughter loved the vegetarian grilled cheese. The Caesar salad dressing was one of the best I've had. We didn't care for the pasta salad it was to sweet. Will go their again when in town.

Great comfort food!!A small bistro in a fishing and sportsman’s paradise. Generous portions at a reasonable price. Limited seating but it turns fast. The pasta or sandwiches are more than many places offer. A interesting combo is a French dip with some bacon on it. It gives you a interesting flavor of 2 meats. You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I had the opportunity to dine here on a recent overnight stay in Salmon and we are so glad we did! The menu featured dishes that we were pleasantly surprised to see being offered in this tiny mountain town. We started off with the fresh spinach and artichoke dip - which was a meal in itself and delicious! My wife had the hoisen/peanut Asian fusion bowl and I went with the gnocchi with house red sauce and a ton of added ingredients, picked from a list that you can use to customize your plate. Both dishes were absolutely fantastic! The meals were very reasonably priced, service was friendly and attentive and the 3 guys cooking in the tiny kitchen are absolutely crushing it!! If you are ever passing through Salmon, do yourself a favor and eat at the Junkyard Bistro - a real gem of a place!!

Always love eating at this place!Sometimes a little slow, but worth the wait.I had the Vietnamese Pork Sandwich and their homemade pasta salad. Delicious!!

They make the food right there and even though it's busy, it is a relaxed atmosphere. The building has a lot of cool history to it that you can appreciate. To be warned it is smaller but cozy. I want to go back again to try their Asian dishes. I had the Phildelphia cheesesteak and mac and cheese and it was really good. It was very enjoyable.

The food was great! Staff were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the garlic burger and the Mac n cheese. The only thing that would have made this experience better for me would have been French fries but I didn’t see a fryer anywhere. Kitchen space is right behind the bar and very small. We enjoyed watching our food be prepared!! Will definitely stop in again next time we are in the area.

The bar service, menu selection, beer on tap are all amazing! All the options on the menu make it hard to choose. They have really good homemade desserts other tasty treats.There is family seating in the back with 10 or so tables. If you are passing through or staying in the area for a while you must go.I had the penne pasta with shrimp, chic, and broccoli. A had teriyaki pineapple fried rice. Both were great and the portions are plenty. The second time we visited I ate the garlic burger and A had the coconut chic curry with dessert. Everything is fresh and tastes fabulous.Check this place out after your next fishing or ski adventure! The friendly folks that run the place will make you feel right at home and you’ll want to return.
