I have been for a while, taking Scrap Metal loads to Carthage Recycling (closer to me). They keep saying it is " "hot" an turning me away. I go home, check it with my detector and find nothing. I go back to them and everything is fine. Big waste of my time. After being rejected for a so called "hot" load for the last time in Carthage--I dug around for another supplier. I have found " Loop 500 Salvage" in Center Tx. I took my same load there. As expected, the load was fine and there were no issues. They were kind and helpful, friendly, very accommodating, and very fair. Absolutely no BS. I highly recommend Loop 500 Salvage. I will be taking all my Scrap to them from now on.
