Its 3 days before Christmas I have 3 kids after busting my rear end to get scrap ready i get there at 3:36 I'm sitting in front of the scale for 15 min the guy saw me the whole time then finally comes out and tells me something that's not written down anywhere that they stop taking scrap at 3:30 I explain that I'm trying to make Christmas happen for my kids he says let me go ask come back out and say nope to bad I go inside explaining the circumstances and I ask will you be open tomorrow he gives me a shmuck look and say nope were closed until mon for the holidays the old man said that to me who writes the checks so I leave out the door and tell b.s and the one who writes the checks starts pointing out the window smiling and laughing along with the others I guess it must be so bad going back to his mansion in west rutland he had to ruin someone Christmas how mighty of man to pick on a family with under 5.00$ to there names when hes spending 20k to weld rusted junk into a statue..

Not a professional or anything, staff was rude, never been to the place so I decided to check out the scrap yard, was threatened to be shot, if your new to this type of work stay away.

spoke with the owner of the company early in the week. he informed me that thay were open on Saturday untill 12. I showed up at 11am just to have them rudely turn me away because there wasn't time. I guess thay just didn't want my business. not sure how all of the other post here say how friendly they are, I had a completely terrible experience. And this is not my first in happy trip the this steel company.

Great crew. Best steel\scrap place in the state. As hvac tech i have lot of scrap on regular. Best peices paid out i found. Only single complaint is they ues the worse bank out there to issue payment. Td is horrid. Be lot smoother if used heritage credit union and keep it local but is what it is there. All is good. Highly recommend.
