Typical cash for scrap metal establishment... My first visit to this particular scrap yard, they where more than pleasant and helpful.. some I've been to the workers try so hard to ignore you, but not this place... They weren't overly talky, but polite, insightful and relevant. In and out in ten minutes with the $7 for an obsolete clothes dryer, and some sage wisdom in hand.... Pretty clean overall considering it's competitors. Most places do require a valid ID for most transactions

OmniSource just paid our company 22 Cents per pound less for Aluminum than the rate at Wise Recycling in Clayton I confirmed their price). They also deducted $154.80 for packing materiel (5 pallets and 5 boxes). For our one delivery (3100 pounds) they paid us $843 less than their nearest competitor. I called them and talked to the district manager. He offered for me to come back and get the load if I could get there in 20 Minutes. As a corporate customer that is located very close to OmniSource, we are very disappointed. We will likely never return.

I took some copper that should have been graded #1 and #2, it was separated too. They weighed it as only #2 copper and I didn't realize it till later. They took advantage of my inexperience but they will not get anymore business from me.
