They are stealing from people. Every week i take around 200lbs of Coper Wire and always get around $70 until one day guy named Josh was in charge, I received only $15 i asked why only this much, i was told " Today you get only $15" Than i told Josh but i get around $70 every week, Josh said "I'm not giving you $70, cost of Coper went down today". After i left i called United Metals and i was told Coper wire is 45 cent per lbs. Instead of getting $90 i got only $15. Now i take my business to people who appreciate "United Metals".

Brought them over 1000 lbs of premium aluminum siding scrap, called dirty by a office worker due to about 0.0001% of it "may" have had a metal staple in it. Person who NEVER walked up to the load said it kicked off his "magnatrometer". Total fraud!!! We weighed at the deadly accurate Grain Silos on the way there with a material weight of 1070 lbs, they weighed us as 750 lbs. It's a criminal organization at best, we were told even with dirty aluminum going for 10 -15 cents a pound, they paid us 4 cents a pound. $26 for a half ton of aluminum. And I'll make a $100 bet they re-wrote that ticket when we left and ripped off Pacific Metal owners the real difference of over $120. A former worker said to watch for that, I agree. Fkn Crooked!

This place is a joke, i took 370 lbs of Pure Alloy and got $78 this is a STEALING 370 lbs @ 45 cent per lbs = $166 When i told Manager (Josh) that i checked online aluminum cost and i should get more money i was told, no today you get only this much and if i like i can load my aluminum back in the truck and come other day. Fro now I take my Business to United Metals.

I brought a old pre catalytic converter in (only worth 10-15$ and the new kid left alone in the morning wrote me down as a premium cat at 75$. Then I came in the next day with two full premium catalytic converters. The regular employee in the bay wrote me as a pre cat and a generic cat ( both came from identical cars) they ended up only giving me 35$. There a mix of new not knowing and guys out to rip you off and there company.( herd from former employees) its a gamble if you get ripped off bad or just a little. Go to Jerome or some were else please they don’t need any more encouragement to do wrong.

I pulled in a few minutes before close to find a group of men standing there drinking beer refusing to let me recycle even though I was promised earlier that day if I was there before 5 I would be able to unload. The level of unprofessionalism I experienced will no doubt have me going somewhere else

Pacific Steel and Recycling pays the best in Twin Falls Idaho. I collect Aluminum cans to make money and I cash them in at Pacific Steel and Recycling. My sister told me to take them to United Metles so I called them to see what the price was and they said thirty cents per pound. So I called Pacific Steel and Recycling they said fourty cents per pound and my sisters boyfriend took some in to Pacific Steel and Recycling and they paid me 45 Cents per pound. When every one else in Twin Falls is only paying thirty cents. I am sitting on close to fifteen hundred pounds as waiting forthef price to go over fifty cents per pound

Not honest people. Manager wanted to argue. Scales are dirty and unacurate. When there is stuff under a scale it justifies the weight different, just as it would a scale at home if lopsided. Awfully ran. Thanks for ripping us off Pacific.
