R&D did me right on a used transmission for my Crown Vic. I had been screwed by 3 other entities before calling R&D and I was truly depressed about how I had been treated.R&D sold me a working transmission for a good price and delivered it to my mechanic for a modest fee. I had some trouble with the transmission at first, but I called and they gave me suggestions to try to get the transmission working right after it had sat on a shelf for several years. The transmission is working great now and everyone was polite as hell.from placing the order to returning the core.

Well let's see I had to pay in advance drive 2 hours wait 2 hours past my appointment time for a 15 minute walk around check if I wasn't so desperate to get my bike on the road I would say I'm disgruntled and would go somewhere else but they've already got my money

Called about a heater core and was told they do not sell them despite 10+ listed on car-part for my vehicle. Lady was very rude and dismissive also.

It was an absolute delight dealing with the staff at R&D. Pro Tip: I used a uHaul truck and trailer to get my salvaged title vehicle to this location from Savannah - a 24 hr rental. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly and given instructions on how to proceed with the paperwork and the inspection. The inspection went without a hitch and the staff provided great feedback in areas I could improve outside the typical checkpoints of the inspection (door gap alignment for example). I would gladly go back. Please follow the instructions and everything will go smoothly IF your vehicle is appropriately repaired, road ready, and you have realistic expectations and willing to accept feedback if you're not prepared the first time. This is all about safety. I wish they'd have a travelling inspector but the round trip was worth the experience.
