Great family owned, local business. They treat you friendly & professionally and get the job done right the 1st time. Fair pricing as well and they offer all of the same services as the dealer (ride/loaner car, complimentary car wash, etc.), but without the bloated costs. Rubens has been working on my cars since I moved here in 2009 and every time I leave satisfied.

Thomas should be FIRED!!! HE LIED FROM START TO FINISH!!! I contacted this company after reading a very detailed listing description regarding a shuttle bus on there lot which I later found out was a LIE! The listing mentions that the bus had undergone some major repairs and gives the impression that it was completed. I spoke to Thomas several time on many occasions and he said that the bus had been recently repaired and when asked if he can show proof at time of sale of said repairs he replied, "yes" which was also a LIE! I drove a hour to purchase a bus that is currently not working and is a complete mess!! Thomas couldn't give any direct info about the bus. He is not nearly as personable in person as he is on the phone. He was actually pretty rude! It will be in this companies best interest to FIRE HIM!

Would give zero stars if I could. How do these people sell cars and not know their own inventory or prices. It’s a bad sign when you tell them what’s on there site and they have no idea where the car is. I own a business and I know all my product and all the prices. If someone can’t manage 20 cars and prices, how can they manage a business?

Where do I even begin...!Yes, lots of places on Yelp have 5 star reviews but ONLY Rubens is TRULY a 5 star establishment from start to finish. I recently purchased a 1972 Mercedes-Benz that has been serviced at Rubens before I was even born.After purchasing the vehicle, I decided to drive more than an hour out of my way to take it to Rubens as they are most familiar with the vehicle history, maintenance, and they even knew the original owners. I can't be any happier with that decision.Jaime, the service manager, was unbelievably helpful, quickly pulling the maintenance records for the last 30 years and even made me a copy to keep for my own records without me even having to ask. He also recommended a thorough maintenance plan that was fair AND at a great price (working on these classic cars is a meticulous process and often times other shops charge an arm and a leg for folks that are not familiar with cars).Once they got started on the work, I got the chance to meet and talk to Rapheal - the head mechanic at Rubens who you can tell has years and years worth of deep expertise and knowledge of german cars. He quickly looked over some of the issues I noted and was able to completely fix or recommend solutions to some of the issues I had with the car (radio antenna, A/C, leaks, door locks, windows, etc.). On one issue I pointed out, he took the time and care to spend over an hour helping fix the door lock without an appointment. Why? Because he simply cares and enjoys his craft and the results speak for themselves. Not to mention, he is extremely humble and we had great conversations.I will be bringing my S4 here from now on and will recommend my family to come here as well. If you have any car needs - regardless of the make, STOP LOOKING! Rubens is the shop you are looking for. You can't find the knowledge, skills, professionalism, or prices anywhere else.THANK YOU RUBENS!

I was looking for a new(er) vehicle to purchase or lease. I have always wanted to see what Rubens imports had to offer - I live in Dana Point - and looked through their inventory on their website. I noticed a used 2011 Mercedes that had a great price, unbelievable low mileage and was a good looking vehicle to boot! I emailed them through the web site and JP, the sales manager, got back to me within a few minutes. I spoke with him and we filled out my paperwork over the phone. Got my financing and virtually all paperwork done in about 15 minutes. Picked up my car at 5:30 that day. I was only at the dealership for 25 minutes.Fantastic dealer to work with and through - I will come back!

We have always gotten great repair service with Reubens, for several years now. Very reasonable, honest, pleasant. They make driving a Mercedes affordable. Will be buying another one from them soon.

They wanted to charge me $120 for an oil change that would not even be done for 4 days. Absolute robbery. Do not go to this auto shop.
