Staff is cool but the place rips you off went in with a 5 gallon bucket full of copper i stripped from cieling fans and compressors and they tried paying me 50 cents a pound saying they dont pay number 2 copoer prices for that sort of copper. Saying its contaminated. Every other scrap yard in the are oays # 2 prices. I packed the copper back in the bucket and brought it somewhere elses and was double what they i was for #2 copper price. Sorry but im out of at the moment abd anyone really really scraps tge right knows theres a lot of timecand work that goes into busting some of that stuff open to only be paid 50 cents a pound that's ridiculous. I wont be anything again also i noticed they pay you tin price on the sxale and i didnt even a single piece of tin in my truck it was all steel. I suggest using other scrap yards in the area only i gave 2 star rating is the staff was cool its their upper office is rippling people off they need so i dont hold against the staff

For one we was first in and out took 45 mins to get fully unloaded had to to unload by hand while the workers used the machines to crush little metal pipes and separate small pieces and also when we got in the warehouse it took another 35 mins with everything separated already I've had better experiences there but the past few times I've been there it's been bad

This place is a joke. I got paid for $55 with a check that nobody will cash!! I am now sitting on side of the road out of gas, because nobody will cash it! (Even Walmart....) I will be calling the better business bureau! And immigration !!!

I was given a old central unit to scrap. On the first visit to TVR I was told I needed to have an invoice from where my friend bought a new unit, and a bill of sale showing he sold/gave it to me.After obtaining the exact documents they told me I needed they still refused to accept it.When I asked to speak with the manager I was told he already decided they would not accept it. He didn't even have the common decency to come lie to my face.I will never bother going there again. I would also recommend others go elsewhere as well.There are several scrap yards in the shoals area.

I went to the scarp yard in Florence and they said they’d be open and they wasn’t. SA was very friendly and offered me a good price for my scrap metal. I’ll definitely be back when I have more scrap metal.

I've been going to SA Recycling for the past few months and selling all of my scrap. The staff is very friendly and their prices are great

Staff was friendly. Instructions were clear. Recycled cans and a dryer. Got more than we expected. Next time we have scrap, we'll be back. 😊
