Went to get my coolant flushed and got charged over 100 dollars. I thought it was fine because they said they fixed it. Couple weeks later I have a 2 decade experienced mechanic come take a look. He feels around shows me his finger and it’s black (feeling in the radiator) apparently they just took it out and put it back in then charged me for labor and a coolant flush. Then wants to smile In front of my face like they did something. They compromised the safety of my girl friend and anybody on here who is protective of their family would feel the same way.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Honestly they seemed to be good people but wouldnt recomend for any foreign car my car would not move into any gear all electrical shifter so was going to see if they could fix it before hauling it to a dealership a week passes and I talked with someone about getting it in they said they would try getting it in within a week This went on for 3 months before I had enough and picked up my car other than the wait along with driver Side window was down enough to let rain in and the door pod does not work along with car in neutral on an incline and nothing holding it their but the e brake and it was locked up along with key in ignition in the on position running my $180 interstate battery witch thank god i was able to get it warrintied but good thing they didnt charge me for anything of they did anything never heard from him since. Hauled it to dealership and is was out within a week.

My wife and I recently visited the Jasper area for a couple of days with plans to take our kids to Holiday World. The evening we arrived into town I noticed an issue with our car, and suspecting it was the alternator, I took it to the Jasper Autozone first thing in the morning. The diagnostic test confirmed it was my alternator and luckily they had it in stock. However, being from out-of-town and scheduled to be at Holiday World within 3 hours, I was in a tight spot. The employee at Autozone called Clint at Schaeffer Automotive to explain the situation and Clint agreed to take me in right away. I drove straight to Schaeffer's and within 5 minutes Clint was already working on my vehicle. Though I think many other places out there would have used my situation as an opportunity to price gouge, the cost of the repair was more than fair and Clint had me back on the road within an hour. Aside from this unique situation, I was impressed by the cleanliness of this shop and it puts my local mechanic's shop to shame!Many thanks to Clint at Schaeffer's as well as Robbie at Autozone for top customer care, we will always be appreciative!

Had our car for over 3 weeks before he called and said what he "thought" was wrong with it then about 3 weeks to fix it and we had to call to find out it was done! He maybe good with other ppl but m experience wasn't a good one :( but the car is running on all 8 cylinders now lol

Great place nice and friendly staff and they treat customers with respect . If you want your vechiecel repaired right, take it to Schaeffer. One of the few and only honest mechanics around.
