We have been purchasing vehicles from Simmons Rockwell in Hallstead now for almost 20 years. Have lost count of the the number of vehicles we have bought here; trucks, sedans' minivans, suvs.... Always a good selection of new and used vehicles and very competitive prices. You might get more for a trade in elsewhere but you'll end up paying more for the new vehicle in our experience. We got to know the prior GM, Morris Hamilton, through the years and he was always fair and addressed issues when they came up and made sure we were satisfied. The current GM, Shawn Roy has been there for a long time and is great to work with also. Through the years there been a lot of turnover of sales and service staff. We recently worked with Bryan Miller and he was great to work with. No pressure and arranged to have a vehicle brought in from another location to get us the vehicle we wanted. Definitely recommend a visit.

Super friendly sales staff. We had a great experience. The prices on cars were great, and they gave us a really good deal on our trade. I really appreciated the haggle free experience.

Sky was amazing, he really helped us find what we were looking for. I was having issues purchasing a vehicle here due to me being from out of state but they really went above and beyond to not only make sure I could purchase something I would love but also made it super easy and simple for me. Trade in process is a total scam. I always believed that SR had the best prices around. NOT TRUE. I was offered half of what 3 other dealers offered me for a trade. Do not accept their trade offer at face value. Do your research. I went to another dealer and received a fair trade offer and the vehicle price was exactly the same as SR. All options were identical.

Sales people are nice but it takes forever

We had a great experience at Simmons Rockwell, Hallstead. Andy McGraw was our salesperson. He was top notch and bent over backwards to make sure we were happy with everything about our purchase. We drove an hour to the dealership and ended up buying a 2019 Ford Flex. If we hadn’t taken the drive, we wouldn’t have an extra $4000 in our pocket. Yes, that is NOT a typo! We nearly bought the same year and model car for that much higher a price. Simmons Rockwell can do this because of the volume of sales. Do not hesitate to call and make an appointment with Andy. It will be one of the few great things that will happen to you in this crazy year!

Terrible, terrible experience at Simmons Rockwell. First, I sent an email request to test drive a black 2017 Ford Escape. I got a response to my email days later with no additional information, just a request to call the dealership. If you're working during their business hours and you thought that an email request would be a good way to get in contact, you'd be wrong. I called and made the appointment and was ensured that the black 2017 Ford escape was on their lot. We arrived and waited for about 10 minutes. Two nice people asked if we were being helped and called over intercom for the person that we were working with, Pat. He came out about 10 minutes late and we sat down. Prior to a test drive, you have to sign a privacy disclaimer. I was told "This just says that we won't sell your information" when it literally said that information would be used by them and their partners (other companies) for marketing. This is 100% selling your information.Then, he had us look around the lot at the vehicles and said he would meet us back in 10 minutes. No mention of the car that we scheduled a test drive for. We were unable to find the car and went back inside to find that he was working with another customer. Seems like we were double booked. Eventually he comes over, and when asked about the 2017 Ford Escape, we learned that it wasn't on the lot. The car that I made an appointment to test drive WAS NOT THERE. Seriously???We drove half an hour to test drive this car and it was moved to another location!I have never had an experience this bad at any other dealership and I would recommend that others steer clear.

Service “manager” comes over to talk to me to tell me what’s wrong with my car with a pen in his mouth. I couldn’t understand a thing he was saying. That’s real professional and real disgusting.
