To anyone hauling their hard earned steel in here please ask what they pay first. I made the mistake of figuring most yards pay about the same. Just today took a load to prospect. A washer a oven and a vending machine got me 90 bucks. Ive got nothing against capitalism but I'm looking out for my steel scrapping buddies. 12 per hundred is what prospect is paying. Easy in and out with cash in your hand 99 percent of the time.

Does not give you cash ,you get a check and you will also get ripped off...you can get 2 or 3 times the amount at other places. Almost 140 lbs of copper and got 150 dollars RIP off...also they have it set up where you have no idea what your gonna get paid till after they take the metal away and you stand in line in another office so it's to late to turn back at that point.

I am an electrician and I know the difference between copper as well as national average prices, this place has no idea what they are doing or they are just ripping people off on purpose. #1 copper gets on average $2.20 per lb but this place tries to give you $1.04 per lb. I’m surprised they’re still in business.

Staff doesn't know difference between insulated copper wire types. They mixed my THHN with my TW and gave me all TW price. Has happened to other people I know also. Rip off.

This place is the best. They take almost everything except trash and garbage. The people who man the “station” are very helpful and particularly with seniors.
