Owner and employees are over the top amazing! Boon came out to tow my car, at night, that was stuck in a giant puddle and They made me feel like family. Called the owner, Chip, and told him thank you for the fast service and care they took with my car! Thank you guys so much!!

I had a horrible experience with these people and their ties to the police station MUST CHANGE. Even though I called the Dyer police in advance and asked them not to tow my car because I had someone on the way to help me, keep in mind it's a Sunday afternoon for God's sake and I had to argue with the police officer because apparently I had called someone else and not the police, what an F-ing joke. Then they move my car a half mile away back to my house and they have the audacity to charge me $150!!!! The city of Dyer needs to stand up to this corruption!! I can't even enjoy my only day off and go through a minor problem on my own.

Told me that the part was blue then when I got it the part was gray and their were dents on it

Couldn't find the car then had to wait to get it bc 2 others were in front of his. They aren't open on weekends so that's a joke.

I have always had great experiences with Stans , they're very helpful in every way . Even when they were call to tow my car 2 blocks after an accident and it cost me $125.00 . I wasn't bothered one bit because the drivers do not set the prices . I will be using Stans for parts as long as I am around to do so.

Shady car sales where first person ready to buy doesn't always get the car, no cash for cars driven in ($75 for a driving crown vic)They say parts are in mint condition but they are far from it. They were targeted by an arsonist at one point so they are scamming people to pay for damages.The tow trucks are expensive and they won't come if they don't feel like it. Tried once to get a tow they refused because they were closing soon, 24 hour towing is a joke from themThey had a sign up saying out to lunch till 12:45, it was 2pm and they were still goneAVOID AT ALL COSTS

This salvage yard is horrible. They work with the police department to hijack your car for something as little as a flat tire. The police will say you car is not able to be moved, then they call in stan's and tow your car, store it for a rate of 175 to 200 dollars a day. To have your car released you must go to the police station an pay 45 dollars for a computer print out that says it is okay for them to release your car. All I wanted to do was to call AAA to come and tow my car. The police would not let me because the wanted to rob me of money !!

Been family friends forever bc they treat you like family. Great parts and they always work with you and do as much as they can, if your short a few bucks they will take care of you, the whole crew are great people and really care about their customers. I don't go anywhere else because of how good you get treated here. I highly recommend Stans to anyone looking for great parts and customer service!!! Love the places... If I could i'd give them 10 stars out of 5.

Towed my son's car 2 blocks and charged him $125.00. What a scam. I would never use these guys again. They're tied in with the police department so be wary when the police call for a tow. Use a different company.
