Drive 30 minutes because of good reviews, waited 20 minutes just to be told that can't take old central air units without a receipt for the new one, that's fine but the guy was rude about it, because I said it should be posted on the website he said that's that state law very rude, I answered back not in all states because I lived in 5 states in 10 years, so a complete waste of 3 hours total. There was more to it also, the old white guy with glasses was just plain rude and not helpful at all.

Hey out there, this is Ed with Ed's Have's Salvage from Lake City, FL . I would like to give a shout out to The Recycling Center here in Lake City for giving the Best service and prices than any other recycling yard in Lake City. I am considered the #1 junk car hauler in Columbia County. I have been redeeming my cars and scrap metal at The Recycling Center since they have opened in Lake City. There are many times I am over booked and The Recycling Center gets me in and out along with the other customers in a fast, safe manner. When customers call with scrap metal items I don't pick up I refer them over to The Recycling Center and they have expressed to me the same opinion. Head of Operations, Brian Linton is honest, knows his metals and gives me the best price on the junk cars and scrap metal. Mathew, in the office is friendly and courteous. The Yard crew are great at what they do. All the employees treat you like Family. And in the Summer they even give you an Icee! Thank You To The Recycling Center For Being Number 1 in my book!
