Seemed well organized by the camp hosts, who rides around in a golf cart to collect your $30 if you didn’t make a reservation. Not worth the price though… camp sites are very close to each other there’s more concrete road than actual campground.

Great no frills campsite. The bathrooms were older but clean. Showers weren't working (probably due to Covid). The camp host was really friendly. The sites are situated so you get some privacy. You don't feel like you are on top of one another. We found a great spot surrounded by trees. The best part was the peace and quiet at 10pm. Not sure if I should give credit to all the other campers or the camp host for making sure the noise stopped but at 10 exactly it fell silent. Slept great. Highly recommend!

The highway is noisy at night as was the Campground lol people were partying until 1am. Rest rooms and site were clean. Due to the fire danger, no fires are allowed. The lake is super low, turn outs along the river were full of fisherman. It was fairly crowded for a non holiday weekend.

Walking distance to a gas station/liquor store for ice, water, snacks-that was a big plus! Campground seemed to be maintained as well as could be expected. Grateful for flushing toilets in an area with lighting at night. Some Porta pottys closer to some sites. Water access for dish washing, hand washing..etc. shade areas if you bring chairs- most picnic tables were in direct sunlight. Quiet time wasn't observed by many while we stayed-not a big deal for us though. Nice breeze helped keep us cool in the heat. We did sit in our vehicle for A/C occasionally to truly cool off mid day. Very friendly and happy staff aswell. We may be back again if this way for our next adventures.

I wish google gave the option to give 0/5 stars because it’s what tillie creek deserves. The place was okay up until nightfall when our campsite became infested with cockroaches. DISGUSTING. We discovered there was plenty near the bathroom and I’m sure by the other campsites. We couldn’t even sleep comfortably knowing about them

We drove through here looking for a spot to camp. They have two sections 1-73 and 74-159. The first section looks decently maintained, however a few of the normal bathroom facilities were boarded up and instead, had portable units out front. The second section was a mess. I don't know if it is typically closed and only opened as overflow for Labor Day weekend or what. The camp sites were overgrown with brush. The bathrooms were boarded up and were tagged with graffiti, without port-a-potties. The drinking water was capped off. It looked like the slums of camping. It felt unsafe and I didn't want to risk spending the night there with my family. We moved on. One of the worst campgrounds I've ever seen. Looks post apocalyptic. I'm only giving it 2 stars because it has a lot of sites, is close to the lake and has potential. If it were brought back up to standards it could be a nice place to stay.

This is a great place to camp with the family! Only problem is that everyone else thinks that too making it crowded at times. When there's been a lot of rain and snow over the winter, Tillie Creek is running and that's where the kids will have a ball. Always clean and always a great camping trip. I camped there for the first time more than 50 years ago!

Loved the lake! Gold specs all over.. Feels like you're swimming in gold😳. Group campground only have portable toilets 😬 but is walking distance from the lake.. So that's a plus. Lots of red ants and few snakes in the summer, nothing too scary. The single campgrounds do have restrooms. Staff is friendly! There is a local dollar mart and few restaurants.. Def going again in the future!

Great campground. Many spots to choose from.Brad the host is very friendly.First come first serve is available as long as no one else has it booked.Try to choose the far spots like 37 or 38 (next to each other) because they are a little more secluded otherwise you’d be close to the loud party...There’s always one of those in every campground hahaClose access to the lake.

Loved it here.. The water on this end of the lake it nice.. Campground was peacrful. You make you reservations online.. Then come in and choose a spot that says reserved. I was a little confused on how the reservation worked here so I asked someone. The host lady was nice. Wish the showers worked. Pack extra toilet paper..
