The will completely rip you off if you try to trade in scrap copper there.Tried to send me off without a receipt, the prices on the receipt were all suspiciously round numbers, and the price per pound was about 2/3 of the average in this area. I was in a rush and didn't do my homework. Wish I went somewhere else.

Acres Auto Recycling Glassboro Inc wrongfully tried to scrap my bmw. Some lady told them that a black bmw that was parked at an apartment complex in Paulsboro NJ was theres. They sent a driver out and took my car away. ( without ZERO paperwork No registration, NO title, NO paperwork) The BMW was damaged throughout the process of them towing it ( window broken, door locks busted) They returned the vehicle after I called the police but refused to pay for the damages saying they are already out $400 that they paid the woman who scammed them. ( this has NOTHING TO DO WITH ME) I spoke with a rude woman named SAMANTHA who told me it wasnt their fault. She got really loud and indignant then hung up the phone on me. IM PISSSSSSED. This is NOT how you do people. As far as Im concerned Acres Auto Recycling Glassboro Inc stole my car and returned it damaged. As a business owner when you make a mistake you own up to it. If they dont resolve my matter in the new 48 hours my lawyer will get involved

Last few times I went there they gave me half of what I was supposed to get for Catalytic converter and all the copper 20 pounds of copper you $40 so i not go back there again I would not recommend scrapping there I get a lot more In Camden iron

Called to get information and the person on the phone was very helpful and polite. Can’t speak on what the actual experience would have been as the person my husband encountered at the entrance was extremely rude, so he decided to take his business elsewhere. No matter what service you’re providing, you should always remember customer service begins at door.

On 2 different occasions recently, I took 96lbs and 124lbs of #10 THHN wire. They told me it was %72 recovery and paid me $1.05 per pound. I questioned it, since I had taken wire somewhere else about a year ago and they considered it #1 Insulated. The guy was quite rude to me when I questioned it the first time. I told myself I would go back but the second time was out of convenience. After I questioned again and got a horrible attitude I decided I would find a new yard. Someone told me about Tri-State Metals in Bristol so I decided to try them out last week. Without question, they considered it #1 Insulated and paid $2.35 per pound. That’s 2.25x more per pound. Essentially I lost out on $236 and got nothing but horrible attitude. It’s obvious I won’t ever be going back here, and I’ll be redirecting all of my friends to Tri-State Metals also.

Excellent area scrap yard and I HAVE been to them all. Best prices , helpful staff and now Saturday hours. Most places try and short you others act like they are doing you a favor buying your materials. They don't understand customer service.

Somehow my truck got heavier empty then it usually is. When I went in today it was 5850 when I went out it was 5420 then all of a sudden it was it was 5800. I know for a fact there was at least 200 lbs in my truck, 1 item weighed 117 pounds. My truck weighs 5628 with a 1/2 tank of fuel I had a 1/8 tank today. I could care less about the money I just scrap metal from my projects but as a business they should have a scale that works correctly.
