This place use to be not to bad. But new manager is rude and really so is rest of place now. Seems like no one likes new manager and seems a little lazy as well

I've barely started bringing my recycles to this place and so far I have no complaints. Everyone here has been good, yes the price for cans and bottles are less than elsewhere but I get good customer service and that's important.

Don’t put 12-12:30 for lunch on your sign if you shut the gate at 11:45. We showed up at 11:45 on the dot and he was just closing the gate and wouldn’t help us until after “lunch”, said that hey close the gate for lunch at 11:45. I suggest that you change the sign on your gate.

Kind of an odd place really... I have only been here twice so it's a little confusing but the crew is helpful.

The owner of this business should receive no stars for how rude and hateful he is.I recently moved to Valley Springs in May. I have a truck load of cardboard that needs to be dumped weekly due to the nature of my business. The first time I went to the recycling center there was a long line of people waiting to recycle cans. The young gentleman who worked there told me to pull into the other side and back to the cardboard bin and so that is what I continued to do for a few weeks. About a month later, this guy who today I found out to be the owner walked over to me after I had backed in and began to raise his voice at me telling me that I can't back in and empty my boxes. I tried to tell him that I was advised by him employees to back in and I did not have a problem with waiting, however, he did not allow me to speak. The incident was so demeaning and it actually traumatized me a bit. I stopped going there for a while, but was tempted by the convenience so I ended up returning. The next time I showed up one of the workers asked me to drive to the back and dump the boxes because the dumpster in front was full. I told the worker that some guy who was employed here had yelled at me before about backing up to the dumpster. The employee just kind of rolled his eyes and told me it was fine.So today, I arrive to drop of my boxes and I see the bin in the front is full. I pull into a parking space so I can ask what the game plan is. A new employee comes up to me and I ask him what I should do. Will he empty the bin or do I need to pull to the back. He tells me that he will empty the bin, but I can't back up to the bin nor can I drive to the back area. I requested to speak to the owner because all this is confusing anymore.Long story shorter. The owner aggressively walks over to me and begins talking loudly to me. I now am aware that this is the guy is the same one who yelled at me prior. He informs me that he don't care if I am the 7th customer who has complained recently (he offered this info to me) and I need to go sit in the can line and wait my turn like a polite person. I never even got to say anything and he kept going on for what seemed like a long time; it probably wasn't very long. When he had finished roaring at me, I managed to spit out, "you are so rude and hateful and you know what, I will take my business elsewhere and I will most definitely let others know about you." And then I left. I am not one to do reviews or complain publicly, but this was pretty extreme. The top 2 rudest employees/owners I have ever experienced.

Dude was helping me but couldn't help that he was showing a Lot of ass,So I let him know and he (I think his name was Eric) And he laughed and asked if I liked what I saw and then showed me he didn't have any teeth and asked if I wanted to party with Him(WOW)

It's alright. Sometimes I feel like I should have been paid more for what I recycle... but they make it hard for people to see the scale when they actually weigh your material most of the time. But atleast its local and I dont have to go out of town just so my recycling doesn't end up in landfills... that's really all that matters to me.

The muscle head that works there has a serious attitude problem and doesn't have any kind of respect at all. The all around customer service is horrible. I would recommend driving the extra few miles to lodi.

Hey I thought everyone was polite and no cuss words. They even came and helped me ( bad back) while they weren’t busy. Great hours also thanks to the crew!!
