Very down to earth folks.. and gave pretty fair prices for a old van I had sitting around..

They have a huge section of tractor implements.As of April 19th 2021 they charge $.05 a pound for tractor implement or parts..... or as the owner told me, "I charge $50 per 1,000 lbs." Fair enough.I'd say bring cash. I didn't buy anything this time but I plan to.

I always take any scrap here,and if I need any parts for a old model vehicle I come to temples first.the people here are always friendly and you will get in and out fast.

HORRIBLY DISRESPECTED & HUMILIATED*** Ronnie Gleaton is my name and due to me having no google account to post this review and my lack of knowledge for computer technology I used Buffy Robinson's google account to post this. Buffy Robinson is not affiliated with my review in any way.Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I EVER BEEN DISRESPECTED THE WAY RUSSELL TEMPLES, the retired owners son, TREATED ME!! I went to inquire bout a scooter part so I went to the office unsure of how this facility operated . Mr Russell Temples was in the office so I politely inquired about some scooter parts and and he told me he didn't know. He was very sharp and short with his words. He said, "hell there's a pile of scooters out there, but I don't know what they got on em, so I reckon you'll just have to go look". Now this facility is located on 2 sides of the road, one side has salvage vehicles and the other side they buy scrap metal and so there's an enormous yard piled up with all kinds of various appliances lawn mowers golf carts, etc and I was unsure of where to go, I'd never been here before and already not caring for Mr Russell's attitude decided to ask another employee outside the office of where to go. He was helpful and pointed me where to go and I went and removed two parts, a breather canister that wasn't the right size I needed but thought I may try to make work if it was a reasonable price and a cracked light lens cover. I returned to the office and Mr Russell and several other fellas was sitting around eating lunch. I asked Russell how much $ for both parts and he said $40 which seemed like a ridiculous price to me so I asked how much for just the (cracked) lens cover. He responded $20. I quickly responded "20 dollars! Man this thing is cracked all the way across and I'm sure I could buy a new one for $20". This man stood up jerked the lens cover out my hand, threw it on the floor and CRUSHES it by stomping on it and just stares at me, along with the other several employees in the office who just sat there watching. I was humiliated and furious and just down right disgusted at how this man treated me for no reason. Went down the street to another salvage yard where I was told Russell Temples was jumped on previously by a man that he had done the EXACT same thing to... wow! I don't ever review anything but it's important to me that I let the public know how I as DISRESPECTED by this man. Ronnie B. Gleaton

They pay competitive prices for scrap and cars but they charge kinda high to buy parts was better when Verbe ran the place

How about making sure your tow vehicle carrying dumpsters is actually clean of loose particles/rock or use a covered trailer before hitting i20 at 80mph!!! Thanks for chipping my hood & windshield!! Pathetic. Occurence at 2:10pm today in Lexington Co.

Great place and people. I was greeted with great hospitality during my visit.

Temples buys scrap metal for recycling, I've taken several loads there. They give you a fair price.

Looking for old parts its the place to go. Talk to Russel or Junior they will take care of you.
