It is a scrap metal place, first of all, do don't expect cleanliness lol. Beyond that it does seem organized. The staff is friendly, cordial, helpful as far as getting the stuff from your vehicle to weigh. They pay you on the spot. Pay seems fair compared to competitors. I've done biz with them twice, will likely do more. They are convenient right on highway 30.

Great people there, always nice and helpful. It's scarp yard folks, they are not suppose to be clean. In fact it's all most impossible, that was for any one that makes a dumb remark about cleanliness. They do keep it clean as possible.

Just had some old cat converters and junk from the tool shed to get rid of. I was treated very professionally and got a better price than expected. Not a frequent scrapper but for future needs I will go here.

This place is very shady. We used to bring in aluminum cans. They do not have any rates posted, they pay you what they want to pay you. It’s always less than when we would weigh our cans and get the aluminum rate for that day. A guy behind the counter with a large handgun barely speaks to you, they won’t tell you what the weight of your cans are, he writes his info in a notebook and hands you some cash, every time I can’t believe how little he gives us. We take our cans to a different recycler that is more reputable now.

Not only did I get more for my scrap than any other place around, everyone, especially the scale guy was so helpful. I had different types of metal, which I knew, but I was wrong on one of the types of metal and they did not hesitate to help educate me. I was thinking I had about $80 in scrap but because of thier knowledge and honesty, I walked away with $135. I will never go to another place to recycle my scrape. World Metal Buyers=WINNER!!

Took in four high end catalytic converters and got offered less for all four of them than ONE of them will get me at Metro Metal. This place is a pathetic excuse for a scrap yard. Dishonest. Unprofessional. Misleading. Fraudulent. If you're looking to get robbed, then this is the place that will smile in your face while robbing you blind.

I showed up with a load of aluminum and steel (after calling TWICE) to confirm they would be open. They just decided to close early. Then were rude jerks.Go to Scrap Mart instead (just a few miles north) where they are honest, modern, efficient, and helpful.

I have turned in scrap here in the past. Good pay for aluminium cans but dryers or lawnmowers get a flat rate, not by weight. Nice group working here though.

Went in with a motor and aluminum and was told that my stuff Was only worth $5.70 after I had already talk to Someone before I went and knew what I had so. I was a little surprised when they told me all I had was some steel and this is basically just trash throw it away although they’ll throw it away for me! Anyone that might beconsidering going here NEVER GO there secondly they gave me a referral to another business about where I could sell my truck you better believe I threw her number out the window quickly because if she’s anything like them she will be trying to give me a dollar for my truck
