I recently took my car to Rick’s. I wasn’t going through insurance because it was accidentally hit in the rear while parked and the damage was minor (rear bumper cover, beam, absorber, trim). Several body shops wouldn’t provide a non-insurance estimate. Another needed an appointment and said they were scheduling 2 weeks out. I stopped by without an appointment and walked out with an estimate in 15 minutes. I gave a deposit for the parts. They parts were ordered and in within a few days. I was scheduled the next working day and the car was completed within 2 days. Everything was easy and their work perfect and flawless. No problem paying on credit or cash and no credit surcharge. Artie was excellent to deal with. They operate like a neighborhood business should but is unfortunately few and far between these days. I highly recommend Ricks Auto body.

I had a paint repair with Rick's in February. That went rather well. However, I had another repair completed last month and did not have the same experience. Well I shouldn't say completed exactly. There were apparently issues between the shop and my insurance adjuster. I still don't know who's side was correct, and it's not my job to know. I pay my insurance premium and deductible, and the rest of the details are not my business. I'm happy as long as the work is completed to a good quality. It was not. I had to have my car sent via flatbed to another shop to have the remainder of the repairs completed. From my understanding, it was all due to the repairs being less costly than the original estimate called for.
