You were previously a go-to for me for used parts. Previously I would've given you five stars. Now I wish I could give negative stars. I was able to confirm you had the vehicle I needed parts from in your inventory, likely had the parts I needed, confirmed you were open, then we make the hour trip with what we need to pull these parts, for —lo and behold— your yard lot was gated! We check with your corporate office... And find out, to our surprise — YOU NO LONGER DEAL IN PARTS, EVEN THOUGH YOUR WEBSITE CLAIMS OTHERWISE?!?!?! AND YOU DID NOT INFORM YOUR CUSTOMERS ANYWHERE WHATSOEVER?!?!?!?! THIS IS BLATANT FALSE ADVERTISING!!!! "PARTS" IS IN YOUR NAME FOR THAT MATTER!!!! I HOPE YOU GO BANKRUPT WITH THE DISSERVICE YOU ARE IMPOSING ON THE COMMUNITY!!!! And, for that matter, I'm assuming the vehicle that would've been perfect to pull parts from for the repairs I need is likely to hit the crusher with the parts I wanted.... You guys are quite the piece of work... Whenever I come across anybody attempting to junk anything that you would accept, I will ACTIVELY direct them toward someone OTHER THAN YOU for this. In fact, due to the false advertising, I believe the following LEGAL CRITERIA are met: * Material Misrepresentation: The company made a false or misleading claim, or omitted critical information: —> nowhere is it indicated you no longer sell parts * Deception: The advertisement actually deceived, or had the tendency to deceive, a substantial segment of the audience: —> we were under the impression, thus we were deceived into thinking, you still sell parts based on the information from your website * Reliance: The deception influenced a consumer's purchasing decision: —> we were relying on you to be a source for used auto parts at reasonable prices and at a reasonable distance, as you had been in the past * Harm: The consumer or competitor suffered financial loss or injury as a result: —> this resulted in a situation where we have been forced to find parts from other, more expensive sources or use sources from greater distances, thus resulting in financial loss, in addition to the losses from unnecessary gas mileage and wear-and-tear on the vehicle we used to travel the distance to your facility I STRONGLY suggest you fix your course before someone actually inclined to file a lawsuit stumbles into this situation or you're likely to find yourself bankrupt sooner than later... I MEAN, AT LEAST STATE ON YOUR WEBSITE YOU NO LONGER DEAL IN PARTS!!!! If this were displayed ANYWHERE on your website, we would have noted that this is no longer an available resource and would not have even tried. Note: RECENT FACEBOOK POSTS, MADE AFTER YOUR ALLEGED CUTOFF DATE ALSO IMPLY YOU ARE STILL IN THE BUSINESS OF SELLING PARTS... (??????? This is extremely confusing and misleading if in fact you no longer do) Since this occurrence, I have talked to numerous people who had frequented you in the past, and after hearing my story, they had plenty of CHOICE STRONG WORDS for you that I do not believe you'd like to hear... Ugh... I mean, if this is somehow some sort of misunderstanding, please clarify!!!! I know for a fact I am not the only one who is both confused and irritated over this!!!!
