Great place to drop off all of your recycling. This is the only local place that I know of that takes metal, copper and other various recyclable items. It’s all random as to whether there is going to be a line or not. My suggestion is always go early in the morning as early as you can. They open super early at like 7:30 AM and close early around 3:30 PM. But you never know how long you’re going to have to wait. Another frustrating thing is when they are busy and there’s only one person in and out to drop your metal. I have helped several people unload their trailers in order to allow me to drop my trailer quicker. But you never know what to expect. Staff is always friendly though that is a constant. ***PS - make sure and take your state issued drivers license! They will need it while you are dropping your truck/ trailer.

The people running this place seem to not have any sense or interest in efficiency and getting customers in and out quickly. For example, they have two scales, but use only one. I was there for nearly an hour for just a small amount of steel. And there were many trucks lined up out onto the street waiting to get in.

2/27/2024 I recently started recycling aluminum cans again. Process used to be confusing but it's much smoother now. The guy is very nice. Here are some pictures I took from my most recent visit:
