On Dec 31, 2025 my car hydroplaned and hit a small palm tree, front bumper was slightly damaged and police came took a statement, my car is fully drivable and just need to get the small tree out of the way. But then a Tow Truck with a SNAP logo on it came and this driver just hooked chains to my rear tire and took my car key. I told him not to tow it in park do it in neutral, he didn't listen and hook everything up and then got me this business card that says "Ewing Bros" and said "I'm going to tow it here and insurance would cover it". Then he drove it off. On next day Jan 1, 2026 I called the number and I was told the car could be picked up any time so I went there around 5pm on Jan 1, 2026. I explained the situation to them and they said I would have to pay $530 to get back the vehicle even if it's under 24 hours. I was told they do not need my consent to tow my vehicle. I was told if I don't pay then they would auction off the vehicle to collect the fees and I won't get any money back from the auction of the vehicle. I told them this is illegal and they just laughed. I recorded the audio when they said this. The place looked dirty and ghetto I thought it might be dangerous so I left and called a friend to go back with me in case they would attack me if I disagreed with their outrages so-called fees. I put on youtube live video recording the entire process. This time they said I would have to pay $69 just to look at the car and pay the rest $500 to drive the car off the lot. I told my friend I should sue them instead of paying but my friend said just get it back and go from there, my friend paid that $69 for me to check the vehicle and I gave them a credit card to charge $472.08 to drive the car off the lot. Then I looked up NTA, FTC, BBB, Attorney General and decided to file some complaints against this predatory towing business that uses coercive tactics and excessive fees to scam people. For less than 24 hours they charged almost $600 that is straight up scams. Ewing Bros says majority of the scam charges were charged by SNAP Towing the company that towed it there. See receipt they provided from BBB complaint. These are straight up criminals and damaged my car's transmission and charged so much bogus fees. In comparison GEICO roadside assistance is less than $100 a year. I would suggest everyone to file complaint with BBB, attorney general, NTA, FTC and mailed a letter to White House. File complaint with Credit Card issuer and file claim with small claim court.

I was stranded in the middle of nowhere NV in a class A RV and needed to get towed 5 hrs to get to a shop that could service me in Las Vegas and called 6-7 Tow shops. When Snap Towing gave me a quote at around half of every other shop I called I got a little sketched out. I went to check reviews and they were terrible.. But then I started reading them and it seems like almost all of the bad reviews were from people that were towed via the city calling snap.. and the "customer" being upset about that. So I decided to give them a chance, and they showed up in every way possible. Roger checked in on me frequently, and even asked if the drive, Jesse, needed to bring me some food knowing that I was stuck for days in the middle of nowhere. Jesse was a total professional, knew exactly what he was doing and made everything as smooth as it could possibly be. I don't have a single bad thing to say about my entire interaction. I guess it depends on who you deal with and what you need, but my entire experience was so smooth and fair, I had to write a review about it..

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! They are untrustworthy with the rowing of customers cars. The driver listed in the photo was mere inches away from rearending me! Then he decided to tailgate me because the speed limit was too slow for him! All while carrying 2 cars on his bed!!!! Also when I called to report the driver the office assaint couldnt even wait to hear me respond to please hold as I would have told her NO!!!! your on of your trucks rear-ended me!!!!!! Now I've been on hold for a whopping 20 min. Being in the Customer service industry myself, this a horrible look on this company. I would not trust them to carry my car!!!! Responding to your reply!! Your company is a JOKE!!! And so is that response. Again it's NOOOOOOO surprise at all the rating you have! #DoBetter #BeBetter!
