Last night, driving on Georgia 27 at 10:30 PM, I had a brand new tire on my truck blow out and shred to pieces. I was sitting on the rim on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. One hour south of Columbus. Pitch black and 30°. I called AAA and they told me they had nobody in the area and that I was on my own. But they did have a robot call me back every half hour to tell me they still couldn’t help. So I googled tow truck drivers in the area. First call was to a disconnected number, second call was a guy who said no without explanation and then literally hung up on me. Third call was to Brian Harris. At 11:30 PM he told me he was an hour away, but would be glad to come out. I thanked him and told him I had changed tires before, but I couldn’t figure out how the spare release worked on this vehicle. He asked for pictures of the undercarriage so he could be sure to be prepared when he arrived. He was so helpful and patient and polite on the phone, that I told him I had gotten the confidence to try it myself. Then he spent even more time on the phone with me, talking me through several steps. My scissors, jack jammed, and that’s when he said he was coming to help. While he was driving to my location I struggled through it and finally got the spare on securely. ( big truck). I called him to tell him I was rolling again, and wanted to pay him for all of his helpful time. He declined, polite, as ever. I never saw his truck or his face, but I can tell you he’s a helluva human being. Kudos, respect, and gratitude to Brian Harris Towing and Recovery. Call this man if you need help.

My wife and I were on a road trip and lost control of our van in the rain and wound up in the median with a tire that had come completely off the rim. I found Brian Harris Towing on google and gave them a call. They were out to us in 30 minutes and helped get us back on the road and even gave us a towel to protect our van from mud that had gotten all over the tire. Would absolutely recommend you give them a call if you need assistance!
