Greta experience here today. I’m from Staten Island, but in the area for a clinic, and I must say that i was very impressed. Very clean place, not dingy like the location where I’m from. To top it off my cashier Gloria was extremely nice and very welcoming. Employees like her make a huge difference when I’m deciding where to do business. Ten stars for her

I’m a frequent shopper and usually have a good experience, but the pickup service has been very inconsistent. When I’m short on time, I place a pickup order specifically for convenience. Unfortunately, about half the time the order isn’t ready at the pickup location, and I’m told to go to the back of the store to retrieve it myself. Out of roughly 10 pickup orders, only about 5 have actually been ready as promised. The rest required extra time and effort, which defeats the purpose of paying for a pickup service. On top of that, a lot of the vegetables in my orders are almost always close to going bad, which makes it frustrating when you’re paying for fresh produce. If orders aren’t going to be ready at the designated pickup area and produce isn’t consistently fresh, it might be better to reconsider offering the service at all. Customers are paying for convenience and quality, and right now that’s not consistently being delivered.

There’s a Stop & Shop, not too far away, but I would never pay them a visit as long as this ShopRite is open. The deals are great, the parking is ample, and the service is good. The only problem I have would be the professionalism with certain employees.A few times already since I’ve been there the employees in the customer service area were loud and gathering around just gossiping. Loud enough for me to be in the checkout line and hear them as clear as day. Other than that, the places an excellent place to shop.
