My venerable old 2005 Ford truck wore out on me about 10 miles from the shop. Not only was the towing extremely reasonable, but my point of contact with Tilford's was absolutely honest with me. I would have put the money into replacing the ball joint, but with the frame rusting out after a quarter of a million miles, he recommended that the repair wasn't worth the money, because the body was going to give out within months. That truck still had the heart of a champion in its engine and I was sad to see it go, but I respect the hell out of a repair shop that is honest enough to tell me when it's time to wave the white flag on the good old pickup.

My tire popped on the interstate on my way from Iowa to O’Hare, and Tilfords was nothing short of a miracle. One of their guys, I think his name was Skylar, showed up in less than 10 minutes of us calling to tow my car. He was so sweet, cracked some jokes with me, and stayed until my Uber picked me up. While I was on my trip, Tilford’s dropped my car off at a tire place, got it changed, brought it back to their shop, and even had one of their guys drop my car off at the bus stop for me on a SUNDAY (that’s when my flight landed). Most places would just say they aren’t open until Monday and make it my problem. These guys are different. On top of this, they gave me an extraordinarily fair deal on the tow & new tire, despite giving me already outstanding service. 2 months later, Mike followed up and asked how my tire was working. How thoughtful. 5 stars and I recommend to everyone!
