Pulled in here during the day. Tons of spots — parking was wide open, like a screaming empty register at McDonald’s. Inside looked okay… let’s call it a solid 3 out of 5, which honestly isn’t bad. This Love’s ain’t the freshest, but far from some abandoned dump — looks pretty decent actually. Only thing? There’s that certain vibe… you know, that tone from a couple of cashiers like they’re not exactly happy you’re here. Especially when you ask about a shower. Never in my life have I been told a price with that kind of attitude — like I owed him personally.

I have left my share of reviews for bad service but normally only when I have a very good reason for doing so. In this specific case, as I pull up to the window. A little girl begins to scowell at me as if I some how wronged her. I Paid for my food and left. Only to find out I was missing half of what I paid for. Even worse what was in the bag, was cold. Not luke warm, not somewhat cold. No it was COLD. The very same thing has happened now 3 times in one week. Either management needs to step their game up, or they need to hire some new leader ship.

Love's Travel Stops are great and so useful. I planned a route from Los Angeles to Chicago using Love's as the markers for gas and rest stops. Safe travels all the way and even made use of laundry washers and dryers. God Bless the Truckers.
