I AM FELIX, EARLIER AT THE EDISON PLAZA THERE WAS A SITUATION OF SOMEONE CALLING THE COPS ON ME BECAUSE I WAS STRETCHING YOGA SUNBATHING BREATHING LISTENING TO 432HZ FREQUENCIES MEDITATION SOUNDS.<br>IN THE MIDST OF THE SITUATION,<br>I WAS APPROACHED BY ABOUT 6 POLICE CARS 6 TO 8 OFFICERS I BELIEVE I WAS UNAWARE BECAUSE I WAS IN A DEEP STATE FOCUS. BUT OVERALL I APPRECILOVE Y'ALL THANK YOU SO MUCH FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!!<br>EPD TEAM FOR TREATING ME LIKE A HUMAN BEING ASKING ME THE RIGHT QUESTIONS WHILE I WAS GIVING Y'ALL THE HONEST TRUTH ANSWERS WITH LIGHT LOVE AND PEACE. I AM TRULY HOPEFUL EVERYONE OF YOU STAY FOCUS CONTROL BALANCE LOVE DISCERNMENT HEALTHY SAFE FOR THE COMMUNITY!!!<br>IN THE END OF THE SITUATION CONVERSATION FOR THE OFFICER THAT TOLD ME TO LEAVE A 5 STAR RATING THIS IS FOR ALL OF YOU.

I was always told that the Edison Police Department was racist. I had only gone to Edison a couple times to visit family, so I never thought much about the EPD. One day I went to visit family and stayed at a nearby hotel. That day I checked out of the hotel; I noticed a police car patrolling the parking lot. As I drove out of the hotel parking lot, I looked back and noticed the police officer was following me. He followed me for 8 minutes and he pulled me over when I tried to pull into Walmart parking lot. I tried to pull in Walmart because at that point my boyfriend and I feared for our lives. We are professional Black people, on a weekend holiday, dressed in tracksuits, driving a red luxury sport car with New York license plates. I am quite sure Officer Thomas Stout thought in his racist mind, "Black people, luxury car, New York plates, they must be drug dealers". Little did he know this "stop" would cause him to be investigated for racial profiling. The investigation went on for over a year. I feel The Edison Police Department was very incompetent on how they managed the case, and they ended up covering up for him. Even though the EPD cannot explain why Officer Thomas Stout followed me for 8 minutes and why the ticket he gave me was different from what he said he stopped me for on his bodycam.<br><br>I would love to know if any other Black person, or person of color, had a run in with Officer Thomas Stout; especially if you were driving in a car.<br><br>I urge Black people and people of color to be careful of Officer Thomas Stout and other Officers like him. If you notice that you are being followed by an Officer call 911 and let them know that you are being followed and you are going to pull over, but you want 911 on the call for your safely. And if you can record the encounter between you and the Officer, record the stop.

Racist! Officer Thomas Stout racially profiles black people driving luxury cars. He will follow you for miles until he stops you. He followed me for 8 minutes until he stopped me, and he lied about why he stopped me. The Edison Police Department covered it up when I filed my complaint against Officer Stout. If you are ever stopped by Officer Thomas Stout, record the stop, request a supervisor, and if you notice that you are being followed by an officer, call 911 and tell them you have a cop following you and you fear for your life. Pull over at a safe location and start recording if you need to.
