I recently had an excellent experience with LaPointe’s Automotive Solutions and highly recommend them. For the past couple of weeks, I had been dealing with a persistent check engine light. My dad helped me replace the coils and spark plugs since the diagnostic showed a misfire. We even replaced the spark plugs twice after initially using cheaper ones, but the check engine light kept coming back. I took my car to the Volkswagen dealership, and they quoted me around $4,000 to fix a few things—but couldn’t even guarantee it would solve the problem. Since I knew LaPointe’s Automotive Solutions was experienced with Volkswagens, I decided to go there. They were able to get me in quickly, properly inspect my car, and identify the real issue. It turned out the spark plugs simply needed to be correctly gapped and torqued. After fixing that, they retested the car and the misfire was gone and the check engine light stayed off. I’m incredibly happy with their honesty, knowledge, and quick turnaround. They saved me thousands of dollars and a lot of stress. I’ll definitely be coming back for any future car needs.
