I purchased 4 tires from here last year around April because my funds were low and I needed new tires to do my registration. I was driving last night 9Jan2026 passing by Chico’s when my TPMS system started going off. It was around 5:30pm I stopped by Chico’s knowing they close at 6 and kindly asked them to check my tires and if needed repair the defective tire, or I’d be able to buy new tires from him. I also stated I was driving out of state today so if a tire needed repair or I needed to buy new ones, I’m was prepared to. I previously knew where my tread life was at. He checked the PSI on all of them, and said he filled them to 40-41PSI and said he didn’t think either of them needed to be repaired. What really got me is that he told me ‘due to the weather the cold temps can drop the PSI (which I knew) but he straight up lied to me and said ‘and as the temp gets warmer tires do not regain the PSI they lost when it’s cold out’ (LIES, everyone knows as the outside temp goes up after a night of colder temperatures, the PSI in tires go back up (in non defective tires) I’m from Chicago, my dad is a retired mechanic. The guy at the shop also said that my tires were ranging 32-35PSI and that is when the TPMS will start going off. Wrong again. My TPMS has only ever gone off when I had a legitimate flat from a nail, and when I blew a tire out on the highway in my previous car (Chevy Malibu) Anyway. I went on my way last night back home-rechecked the PSI this morning in all 4 tires around 4am and the tire I suspected was the issue, had PSIs drop more than what is normal for a night of mid-40 temps. We went to Discount Tire this morning, they found the nail, repaired the tire for free and I am on my way to IL now. I am disappointed to have had who I believe the main guy in the shop lie to me to my face. I am also disappointed he couldn’t be bothered doing a brief check of all 4 tires and repairing the one, nonetheless not even being willing for me to buy new ones (My treads are 5 and 6 and I have been planning on buying new tires in March or so) In a way, I suppose I am glad to know he isn’t hurting for money where he couldn’t have cared less on actually helping me or having me buy new tires from him. I’m glad that neither his shop nor him appear to be struggling. But I will not be coming back here or recommending this place to anyone I know, and perhaps anyone I personally know, I will warn them of my experience. And I’ll happily go pay the $1300 at Discount Tire for new tires and give them my business instead.

Bought tires twice in under a month first time the 30 day policy went over. Belt was bad tire almost fell apart while driving. Paid for another tire. I Came outside to warm up the car and the tire (one that was purchased here but not replaced) is flat car on the ground. I asked them to check if my other tires were good when purchasing the replacement tire, I doubt they did. My car wouldn’t be on the ground right now if they did. Don’t come here don’t waste your time, they won’t honor fixing a bad tire they sold you. You could get more mileage out of Walmart tires.. What really sucks about this situation. I can’t afford new tires and scrapping money to get by so you come here trusting that you could get some mileage out of used but not defunct tire, Can’t even have that! So you end up spending close to what you would have paying for a new tire! With money you should have spent on bills or food! Disappointed never will come here again but I’m sure that doesn’t matter given other reviews sharing similar stories!

Luis is awesome! Definitely ask for him! All of the mechanics are very nice and straight forward. They are ready to get you in there, get it done, and get you on the road. I bring all 4 of my cars and my motorcycle here for basic maintenance needs and they always take great care of me and make sure I'm all set. I appreciate the good customer service, and that the staff and the owner Chico remember me when I come by because it makes the experience feel positive and personal. I am happy I found this little place and will use it for everything I can! Quick and easy!
