Highly Recommend A++++++++++ The Midas Team is Awesome! I came in and they did a review of my car and came back with a report card with pictures. impressive! I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and often dread car trouble. This day was no different. My report card showed I had work that needed to be done and I was anxious about costs as usual. This team immediately sprung into action to help find a way They went above and beyond to help. They focused first on safety items and discussed my options. They are professionals here and they are kind and I was able to get everything I needed taken care of thanks to them caring enough to help a grumpy old senior out. You just can’t go wrong with that kind of customer service. This is the beginning of a long relationship with the Farmington, CT Midas.. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. You made my day. ~Sandy

I went in for a wheel alignment today after being quoted $149 after a $20 off coupon on the phone. They knew I had a 4 wheel drive vehicle. After saying it would be $202 I said I had a coupon and was quoted $149. He typed it up and said with tax it would be $169. I asked how he got to that number and again he said tax. I pursued it and he finally said it was a $10 service technician charge as well. I said that is crazy that service is always included in the quote. I reluctantly agreed and when the vehicle was done he said the front wheels were aligned and the back wheels were a little off. I was the.n informed that I was charged for a front wheel alignment only and there would be additional cost for the rear wheels. I showed him a quote I had from my Acura dealer for a 4 wheel alignment with car wash for $149 and said a dealership should never be a better deal from Midas. He said that since it was a franchise and the owner sets his own prices and they never price match. I left and called the Midas in Canton who told me their 4 wheel alignment cost is $109 everyday. Beware of this store’s excessive pricing and lack of transparency.

I am beyond disappointed with the service I received at Midas after spending nearly $2,000 to replace all four brakes and rotors and control arm components. Everything that was recommended regarding the breaks was done, and I was looking forward to new brakes. The rear brakes feel just as ineffective as they did before the service and you can literally put the e-brake all the way down and drive as if nothing is holding (old pads had much better grip in comparison). When I returned to have the issue addressed, the shop (one of the ladies) suddenly began identifying additional problems, none of which were mentioned or suggested during the initial repair visit. Worse yet, she said “it could be this” “we will start with this and see if that fixes it.” This lack of transparency, accountability, and professionalism is completely unacceptable for a business that claims to provide reliable auto care. I have since contacted corporate office for Midas to escalate the matter, and if not resolved, I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company. I paid for a complete brake job and was left with brakes/breaking quality that was worse than the previous. Rather identifying new issues to generate more money ($96), stand behind your work, especially when customers spend significant amounts of money! Stay away from this place, reviews that are generated from customers who are simply doing emissions isn’t something to be trusted when it comes to real job. Another local shop jumped in and resolved the issue…Zero charge…zero issues, and they even identified the lack of job your shop did! Control arm bushings not installed correctly, rubber is all messed up and dirt will get in and cause issues. Low quality brake pads installed, literally $20 pads and charged customers $80 per set but claiming to customers they only use the best quality. Disgusted!!!
