I purchased 4 brand new Goodyear Assurance MaxLife® tires for my 2017 Kia Sorento SX Limited, Tire Size:235/55R19, Speed Rating:V,Load Index:101Sidewall:VSB directly from Goodyear and Modern Tire installed them on 11/24/2023. About 9 months into having them I did notice the front tires were losing some air. Although I made an appointment just before 1 year a medical emergency kept me from keeping that appointment and then I just bought one of them portable air pumps and used that for the next year. But late into 2025 I noticed that the air was definitely leaking much faster. So I brought my vehicle to Modern Tire and Stephen helped me with this issue. Basically it wasn't the tires themselves but the rim around the tires were getting debris caught into the space between the tires and the rims and the rims were not smooth and wearing out. I gave permission fo Stephen to have his crew remove all tires and either sand down the rims and make them smooth enough for the rims and tires to form a much better seal and then Modern Tire applied some kind of material to seal the tires to the rims. It's been 7 days already and there is absolutely no detectable sign of leakage and the tires are holding their air perfectly. As a side note since I did purchase them directly from the Goodyear website and although Modern tire installed them they didn't have any record of this. So I did bring in my original Goodyear tire receipt to show them and add this to their records. At least now I know that I have some kind of record with Modern Tire. I'm very pleased with the work they preformed and the time it took them to do so. While waiting I took a short walk over to the Starbuck restaurant to eat a small breakfast and play around a tiny bit on my iPhone. While walking back Steven called me to tell me the everything was done and I could come back on over. They even provided me a video of the leakage from the area between the tires and the rims. I think the price was reasonable considering they did all tires.
