I don't give a 2 Star review lightly. I've been taking my car here for 3 years, and over time, as Steve has struggled to find the source of the problem with my car (stalling and rough idling), he has gotten increasingly rude in ways that are hard to ignore. I was there a few days ago explaining an issue, and he told me, point blank, "Stop Talking." I've been told by so many reviewers to seek him specifically as a mechanic, but I have to wonder how many of you are women, or simply appear femme? I can't tell if it's specifically misogyny, or if he is just dismissive. The cherry on the top is that he said he fixed a transmission leak the other day, and 2 days later it's still leaking so badly that it's dripping onto hot parts of the car and creating smoke under the hood. So unfortunate.... especially with how hard it is to find people that repair older cars. I hope that if you try this mechanic, he does not gaslight you ("there's nothing wrong") and disrespect you like he did to me. You deserve better than him.
